Plot:
From the beginning, Marco was always cautious about the whole thing. He was the least willing to fight. Not for selfish reasons, but just to be there to preserve a little bit of his troubled dad's normal family. But in a mission to lure the Yeerks into a position to be attacked, Marco finds exactly what happened to his presumed dead mom . . .
Comments:
In the first book he's narrating, Marco does a pretty good job. We can get a pretty good idea of his personality as well as --more importantly -- why he is that way. This book is pretty much basic to the whole "Marco's family" subplot: you just have to read it.
