ANIMORPHS:
The Andalite Chronicles:
Plot:
His name is Elfangor-Sirinial-Shamtul.
An Andalite warrior-prince. The one who gave five young humans the ability to morph
into any animal they touch. They are still out there, fighting an evil so powerful there
isn't a moment that goes by when they can actually feel safe. Their story continues. But this
is how it all began.Comments:
Very good book which sheds light on some previously shady aspects of the Animorphs
story. But perhaps that's an understatment. There are actually some startling revelations
(which are only mildly shocking if you've read the books after this, cheater!) and
introduces or deepens some previously hidden, in-the-background characters. But most
importantly, this book is about Elfangor. It gives three dimensions to this person who to
the Animorphs of present day is a legend, someone who came to Earth, gave the forbidden
power, and promptly died. Even his brother Aximilli dosn't know half of his brother's
story. But this is it: Elfangor's hirac delest: his final statement before death.
