Soul

While lying in my bed at night, I wonder,
Do I have a soul?

Would it belong to the warrior?
Or the girl that sits in silence?
Would it belong to the innocent?
Or the killer with no heart?
Would it long with that girl for love?
Or would it laugh over its victims?
Would it comfort her in all sorrows?
Or cause it to trudge on?
Would it lead her through a life of good?
Or lead her into a life of pain?

Can I soul have two sides?
I do.
Which leaves me to wonder,
Do I have a soul?
