Bubblegum Crisis is a show about the future and a team of researchers who created a new type of machine, called "boomers" to replace humans in workplaces and make life easier for humans. However, sometimes boomers have malfunctions and go nuts, or some evil boomer tries to make the other brainless, stupid first-generation boomers (which is most of the boomers, actually, all of the boomers in Crisis) attack people. rob places, or try to kill the knight sabers.
The knight sabers are a group of four women: Priss, an aspiring singer, Nene, an AD Police employee, Linna, an aerobics instructor, and Sylia, who owns a lingere shop. These women fight against bad boomers to keep the city of MegaTokyo clean from them.
Storyline
5/5 I liked the story and the boomers were an original idea.
Character Development
4/5 the 4 main ones were good, but a lot of characters tend to just show up and then die.
Plot Depth
5/5 The plot gets deeper as you continue on through the story.
Music
5/5 This is 80's music, yet it is all very good, especially "Mad Machine"
Sexual Content
5/5 No sexual content
Nudity
4/5 A couple of semi-detailed scenes of the girls pulling on the first layer of their hardsuits.
Violence/Gore
4/5 Lots and lots of boomer-deaths, and people tend to get killed a lot too.
Animation
5/5 For the time it was made, it is good.
Profanity
4/5 Priss swears a lot and the bad guys swear too.
Overall goodness
5/5 I liked the story, I liked the characters, and I got attached to a couple of them. Some of the characters just showed up for a while and then dissapeared, others got killed off or just turned evil-kineivel.
Totals: 46/50, very good, but this is a series made for older, more matured audiences.
Bubblegum Crisis was a show about four women who fight boomers. One of the best aspects of the show is the fact that they have full-body armor that actually serves a purpose. The women are Priss, Nene, Sylia, and Linna. Personally, I think Linna's hardsuit is the best. Its got these little things that can slice other things in half... or whatever. So they go around and kill Boomers, and they go BOOM! So, they are trying to save the city, but still trying to keep all identities under wraps. Tough job, says I.

Bubblegum Crisis is a sci-fi action-filled romp through the flowers! Yeah, whatever. It is engineered toward the male audience with "hot women" and HOT MACHINES! ^_^ Oh, yeah. Females would like this gem, too. But hey! It's a manly thing.... we guess. Reccommended for sci-fi and futureistic punk-grunge like things. We think the correct term is "cyberpunk". Much fun.
