Heather's Cleopatra DC Review

Cleo is the advisor/head person for a company, and this company just so happens to own about 50% of the world's businesses. But that isn't the only thing the lovely Cleo does! She is also in charge of letting everyone know when DC will be released. DC is a little police group located in several spots, with the head quarters being in... you guessed it... Washington D.C. However, with Cleo's company located in New York City, she gets to go anywhere she wants when DC is called out!

Being this was an OVA series, we had three episodes, three problems to deal with. The first was a little oil-rig situation. Someone was trying to blow up Cleo's share of the oil rig located in Saudi Arabia. That would be bad, because that oil goes out to many a person. Second of all, we had some thief going afer a rich old man's diamond. That would also be bad, just because that diamond was very LARGE and there were MURDERS involved to get that darn old thing. And lastly, we have a naked little girl who makes everything extremely cold when she is angry, and then warms up by blowing things up, or just starting a little 'ol fire.

So that's what they have to deal with. As for the audience, we just hear a few swear words, see a few nudey scenes (all done in outlines or just a buttcrack view), and there is a little bit of good, old-fashioned violence. You know, the kind where they incinerate people by blowing up oil cans on them?

5/5 Really Cute, but it had serious elements to it as well.

5/5 Pretty much everyone was memorable and funny, except for that old man. But then, who cares about the old men?

5/5 It was not all that deep, but it had a decent plotline. I guess towards the end, or in the third episode, then everything got a little more involved.

4/5 People get burned, shot, whatever. It's a cop show: you should be expecting some violence. There are some kind of.. decaying bodies and things of the sort, and some parts of the movie get tear-jerky.

Animation

5/5 It was very unique. The eyes were very detailed, the clothes were very detailed, and the way the people were built was just... different. They all had incredibly long legs, really wide shoulders, and skinny little necks. But I enjoyed having a style to watch that wasn't the same.

Profanity

4/5 There were a couple of swear words and stuff.

5/5 I rather liked it. Okay, that was an understatement. We need to buy this one as soon as we can get our hands on a decent-paying job. ^_-

Megan's Cleopatra DC Review!

Cleopatra DC is a really cute short spiff (what's a spiff? Dunno!) about a woman named Cleopatra and her partner, Swen. (no not SWEN, SVEN is how it is pronounced) There are many problems, such as a stolen jewel, (diamond) a young psycho child who's cold a lot and starts fires so she'll get warmer, and a weird old man who wants to take their oil fields in Saudi Arabia (I think it was there. Iraq, Iran or Saudi Ariabia. . . can't remember).

Cleo, the main woman, works for a company she herself owns (I believe). This company owns over half the businesses in the world and is located in New York's very own. . . NEW YORK CITY! (never saw that one coming) Her right hand men - there are three of them - Erik, and two other guys whose names have slipped my very slippery mind. Erik was very cool! As they try to save the world and Cleo attempts to learn that you don't have all the money that you want, we learn many a thing! It was a very good show that was, in my opinion, good enough to own!

5/5 Excellent! I have been waiting for animation like this! Her eyes are so painstakingly detailed, her clothes were beautifully wrinkled in all the right places, her hair was very nice and shiney, all the coolness machines were perfectly shiney and clean! VERY GOOD! (and I can't remember ONE SHOT of CFS! That's crooked-face syndrome!)

5/5 Very good! I think I would like to own this one! I really liked it a lot. I recommend it to those who like shows that have a good sense of humor and that have interesting characters. Cleo was ditzy, but just enough so that she wasn't annoying. It was nice to finally have an enjoyable type ditz.
