Devil Hunter Yohko is a cute (at times...) series about a girl who inherits the power to use a Sword of her Soul to fight...devils. The music is usually good and it has funny lyrics sometimes. The animation is good, and gets better and better as the series progresses.
Yohko finds out that she is about the 108th girl in a line of demon-slayin mamas. Her grandma did it, but her mother did not. Why? Because her mommy got jiggy with a guy before she received her powers, so she couldn't fight demons with the Sword of her Soul; my guess is because her soul was no longer pure. Anyway, grandma is sick of it and passes it on to Yohko.
Yohko is kinda weird. She is always wondering if this guy she has a crush on now will take her virginity. Well, he can't until after she becomes the Devil Hunter. After she receives her power, then she can screw as many guys as she wants! (Is this making any sense to you? I try...) For some reason it just works that way. She can't lose her virginity until after she receives her powers. She encounters many obstacles and even recruits a Devil Hunter in-training, Azusa.
Things to look out for in this series are:
Nudity, and detailed nudity at that. There is a scene where a possessed guy tries to rape Yohko. I don't know what went on there because I fast-forwarded it. The series has a lot of sexual comments in it, as you can see. There is enough swearing, but not too bad of words, just your usual. It is also quite violent.

I like Devil Hunter Yohko... but there is a lot of... ecchi, shall we say? Yes, ecchi stuff. (no, not icky, ecchi is like hentai. Hentai is like anime porno. (eeew)) So, Yohko's mother WANTS Yohko to lose her virginity, even goes so far as to give her condoms when she goes to school. (they came in handy in THAT episode...) So her and Chi meet up, and Chi does a favor for the guy who has a crush on Yohko.. eehhh, ok! She lifts up Yohko's skirt! Ick.. then all 3 are late for school, and the principal (who has an ugly haircut!) tells the guy who was with them that she wants to see him after school See, she has found out the Yohko is a Devil Hunter! Devil Hunters must be virgins.. at least until they are proven as Devil Hunters... ANYWAY! So the kid goes to the office, and she gives him a lesson in how gross your principals can be. This kid possesses Yohko... and I didn't watch the next part. Involves a bed, and two naked people. There... that should paint a pretty picture in your mind! Her grandma crashes through the roof on a motorcycle, and breaks the two up before he gets anywhere, and then Yohko's dress is constantly torn near her chest. Sometimes she cares, sometimes not.
Two and three were not NEARLY as ecchi as one. (but one is the most sexually charged.) So Azusa comes along, and they fight demons and they banish them, and Chi gives up her diet... yet AGAIN! I didn't see 4, but it's only music videos anyway.
Five: All the devil hunters from the past appear! Madoka turns young!
Six: Yohko and Chi are now juniors or seniors or something, and a slutty young woman who looks like Yohko is stealing all of Yohko's crushes! What shall she do? Find out who she is and kick some Ayako BUTT! Ayako and Azusa #2 are fighting Yohko when they accidentaly ressurect a demon. Tough thing, he is.

Devil Hunter Yohko is made for mature audiences who like the occult, possessions, magical girls, action, adventure, and comedy. It's geared more towards the fanboys, but girls will enjoy the plot and love stories, too. We recommend seeing it subbed over dubbed.
