Overall Grade: A- (90%) Really good! We really liked this one. Some nudity (no, really? They strip elves!), swearing, violence, but all in good clean fun.

Heather's Those Who Hunt Elves Review

Those Who Hunt Elves is an extremely funny show! It has pretty much no plotline... but that's ok. It starts out with three people. Ritsuko, Airi, and Junpei. They were transported mysteriously into another world with their tank.

Celcia, a very powerful elf, tries to send them back home with a spell. During the course of the spell, however, Junpei makes comments about how Celcia has to be naked. This causes her to lose her concentration, and the spell explodes into pieces. She finds out that they have been imprinted on five elves' bodies, and they need to get the fragments back so they can try the spell again.

Celcia decides to disguise herself and help the travelers against her world's rules. She disguises herself as a dog. The problem is... she can't get back to her normal form. So she is stuck as a dog until the spell is retrieved.

Also, along the way, a cat spirit is on the rampage. People try to kill it. It takes a form through another object, and causes it to come "alive". First off, it possesses a teddy bear. A giant one. So the teddy bear meows and jumps on the roofs of houses, destroying them. Then it goes into a stuffed dog, which Ritsuko befriends. They catch Ritsuko with the dog and tell her it must be destroyed. So they throw it in the tank and push the tank in the river. Ritsuko dives in after it, and they all think she died. Suddenly, the tank bursts up from out of the water, meowing. The spirit had found a new home. For the rest of the series the tank chases mice and runs at the sight of dogs (besides Celcia).

In order to get the spell fragments, they have to strip elves naked. So there is a ton of undetailed, humorous nudity. And man, they can sure swear in this show!

Megan's Those Who Hunt Elves Review!

Let me begin by saying that this is NOT a typical anime. Yeah, we've got the whole Japanese animation thing going on, but I mean TYPICAL. We strip elves here, and that's the way it's gonna BE!

I'll introduce you to the characters.
Airi: Very famous actress, Junpei is obsessed with "Miss Airi". (her name sounds like airy. Light and airy fresh!) She can be quite full of herself sometimes, but I really like her. She's an excellent actress, and can spot a disguise a mile away.
Junpei: Meat-headed, curry-obessesed, Miss Airi obsessed guy. He's really funny. He tends to think up absurd ideas. (jun-pay. Just like it looks)
Ritsuko: Loves her tank. Loves her gun. Loves.. MIKE!! (mee-kay. Not Mike.) She's my personal favorite. Ritsuko is terrified of ghosts, yet she keeps a cat spirit in her tank. OOOOOOOKAAAAAY...
Celcia: The annoying elf. She's really not that bad. I DO like her. She is pretty funny, and her and Junpei's fights can get really entertaining. She thinks she's beautiful.

The story goes as follows: Celcia tried to transport Airi, Junpei, and Ritsuko back to their world. She must have FULL concentration to do this. So she's chanting away, and Curry-boy, (Yes, JUNPEI!! THAT'S YOUUUUUUU!) makes some stupid comments about Celcia would be really hot naked, blah blah blah. This causes Celcia to lose her conentration. The spell.. explodes. It's gonna be imprinted on five elves' bodies. You'd think, okay, just look for the pointy ears! But the land is filled with elves!! So the three are off, stripping elves. Celcia decides that it's about time to lend a hand. She disguises herself as a dog. Right away, Airi knows it's her. But they find an elf, and get a fragment. In her dog form, Celcia imprints it on her body. She's worried it will mar her elfen beauty, so she tries to change back. She can't. So it begins...
