Overall Grade: B- (82%) Rather bland, kind of like non-flavored yogurt. It had some swearing, non-detailed nudity, weirdd @$$ character designs, and some screwed up chess pieces floating above cities.

Heather's Wild Cardz Review

Okay, Wild Cardz (or otherwise known as Jaja UMA! Quartette) is a really, really PLOTLESS show that has some humor in it. Other than that, I couldn't find a point or plot within it... oh well.

Anyway, this show is about these four girls, who are the "Crown Knights", otherwise known as the "Jaja UMA! Quartette", and they "fight for the land, the nation, and they are willing to risk their lives, and fight with all of their might" to prevail. So what happens when giant chess pieces start floating in out of nowhere and decide that they want to kick the Crown Knights' butts? They suppose that they'll just have to fight harder.

That's about all I can say, because the plotline goes no further than this. It's just 50 minutes long, so that's about all they can squeeze into this little tape. As for things to watch out for, there's some brief nudity, although the most detail they get into is a buttcrack, some mild swearing, violence (no blood though), and lots and LOTS of boob, butt, and crotch shots. I dunno why, but that's okay.

Heather's ratings

Storyline

4/5 It usually makes no sense, it's kind of hard to follow, and the characters are all the same, but aside from that... I suppose that it was entertaining.

Character Development

3/5 They were just so blah...

Plot Depth

3/5 ...blah...

Music

5/5 Good music. Lots of it was all techno-ish.

Sexual Content

5/5 Oh, people say they love each other, and blah-de-blooody-blah.

Nudity

4/5 There were two shots of it, and the first one there was hair all strategically placed. The second one, you're not so lucky (or unlucky, depending on your point of view...).

Violence/Gore

4/5 There was a lot of stupid beating of giant metal chess pieces, and some of the girls as they fell with their hineys in the camera lens, trying to be dramatic.

Animation

5/5 Very good.

Profanity

4/5 Some mild swearing that you know you haven't taught your little sibling to say to your parents (hey, it's FUNNY, right? RIIIGHT? Aw...).

Overall goodness

3/5 It was just blah. Blah.... some of the characters had some really unique assets to them, though. Like their faces. Ha ha.

Totals: 40/50, or okay. It was just... yet again... c'mon, make a guess.... bland. WHOAH! I really threw you for a loop on that one! I didn't say BLAH again! HAHA! ^_-

Megan's Wild Cardz Review

Yeah, well, I thought it was pretty dumb, because the girls were typical people with typical personalitites, the typical weapons, and the list goes on. The story was really unique; I liked that. But , the characters were not. Jo Diamond bothered me the most. She never stopped screaming and she would always get all dramatic. "I'm a failure! I'm so worthless!" Oh, cry me a river! All right, now that I'm done ripping, I'm okay!

It was good because I liked the design of the characters, the music, the animation was really good, and the story was cool. I've never head of anything QUITE like it. Here be the "lowdown" (Whatever THAT is): There are four Crown Knights. Diamonds, Hearts, Spades, and Clubs. They live in a world governed by the Crystal King (I think). These four lovely ladies would be: Jo Diamond! (yay. . .) Casa Clubs! (she was okay) Coco Hearts! (she was really cutesy, but she wasn't too annoying or anything) and last, but not least, the lovely Sunday Spades! (SHe mostly stood there and gave orders). Well, they protect the world and whatnot. One happy, fine, sunny, super-happy-fun SD day, a giant "chrome dome" (it was a pawn from a chess game; even I knew that) appears. So it's an enemy, and they try to destroy it, and the evil people are all over and there's a cool guy with a funny mask and pointy hair.

Loads of fun, I tells ya. Well, mild nudity, some swearing, and some other mild violence (no blood), cheesy-sheesy dubbing, and some other things. JO, WOULD YOU STOP FOR A MOMENT!??? Now that's out of my system; thank god.

Megan's ratings

Storyline

4/5 It was unique (that's why it's a four, not a three), but the characters made it kindof dull. . . they were kindof dull, too.

Character Development

4/5 I just didn't like them all that much, felt nothing for them, and if one of them died, I'd probably jut roll onto my other side.

Plot Depth

4/5 Not deep, but it was funny at times. Pretty pointless, yet again.

Music

5/5 Techno and fun!

Sexual Content

4/5 Some implied stuff, like rubbing the inside of one's thigh on one's butt, pressing one's chest into one's back, among other things.

Nudity

4/5 There's a blip at the beginning of Casa, but she's all stratigically placed, and then there's Sunday, who is also all stratigically placed, but you can see her bum.

Violence/Gore

4/5 A little. People fly about and die and stuff,

Animation

5/5 Very detailed on the eyes! I liked that.

Profanity

4/5 Big fat and hairy deal (eeeew, hairy!) Shut up! Lots of hair!

Overall goodness

4/5 I just think that Jo was dull (she never had a different reaction), Casa was pretty bland (she was supposed to be sexy, so she mostly just wore short tops and bounced), Coco was rather production-line cute ditz (she liked cute things and was cute), and Sunday was your typical person who's the leader, yet stands around and yells orders, giving pep talks when needed. I liked Fracasso, he had some funny lines.

Totals: 42/50, or it had bland characters, but a good plot (okay, the BASIS was good, the plot was not there).

TOTALS PUT TOGETHER: 41/50 we both thought those chracters were bland!

Comments: Wild Cardz was a series (of one tape) that really had no real point. It came and went, no real action or emotion to it. But girls sould like that cutesy characters and love story, and guys may like the "area" shots of the girls and some cool mechs. It had a unique storyline, but it wasn't consistent with it throughout the film.
