Chantel is my incredible 12-year-old daughter. She is much more than my child, she is my friend...honest to the hilt, kind, respectful and loving.

A gifted athlete, she excels at all the sports she endeavors, from skateboarding to surfing to soccer. She plans on achieving a professional soccer career and is well on her way, being scouted by various clubs, having played in the "Premier" soccer league. She now plays with the Encinitas Soccer League under the skilled coaching of Mike Jones.

These past two years have been a time of change and growth for us both. And Chantel has proven herself an individual of character, seeking to understand the challenges and changes we have both faced.

I am proud to be called her mother and her friend.
