I have been a graphic artist for 9 years and I enjoy the creative end of that work and find it very rewarding as well as fun. I am now attending college full time to earn my BA in Internet & Multimedia Technologies (IMT).
I got married at 20 years of age, and remained so for 16 years. I have gained strength over the past year to make right choices and have begun a new life with my daughter and a new sense of 'self'.
My daughter is an incredible 11y.o. who has a truly beautiful soul. She is blessed with an athletic nature and is planning on a soccer carreer. Needless to say, I'm attending soccer games just about every weekend.
I was born as an army kid at Fort Bragg in Fayetville, North Carolina. One of three girls, my family moved 4 times over the next 17 years of my life. I lived in Colorado and California, twice each.
I loved growing-up in Colorado. The Rocky mountains hold a special place in my heart. I am from a small mining town called Central City located at around 9,000 feet elevation, with lots of trees to climb and meadows to wander in. Not to mention LOTS of snow during the winter months.
We moved back to California when I was 11 years old, to a smaller L.A. suburb called Glendora. Glendora was (and still is) pretty nice for a town in L.A.
I got married in 1984 and moved down to Carlsbad in April of '85. I have lived here now for the last 16 years and appreciate living on the coast with my daughter and animals.
