Family Tree_Etc. is the family tree program that I used to compile my 20+ years worth of research and to publish my book, The Descendants of John Veazey. This program was written by Gerry Eichen. He has given excellent support when a problem arises. Has upgraded quite a few times when I have filled up the prior version. Has taken GEDCOM files that were corrupted and straightened them out at no charge. The current version is DOS based but he is working on a Windows version. He will continue the DOS support when he completes the Windows version.

Reports that can be printed include: Family Group Sheets, Ancestor Charts, Descendant Charts, Direct Line Charts, Relationship Reports, and most importantly the "Book Format" Report which keeps all the data in generations. All reports can be sent to "disk" and then pulled into a word processing program for moving, editing or adding information.

Cost is very reasonable and the current version holds 25,000 names. And please tell Gerry that I sent you!
