Here are some of the works of popular Northstate California artist H. Anne Whiteman, a prize winning artist. She began her road to an art career with years of training. She first studied under the
famed artist Sadako Mano. After her early training, she taught in the Sadako Mano studio in Sylmar, California, and later
at Woman's Workshop in Northridge, California. She continued her art education with workshops with many well known artists
such as Gary Jenkins. One of her earliest encouragers was artist and teacher Joyce Pike. She has painted, sold and exhibited
her art for over 40 years. She taught oil painting for over 27 years as well, continuing to this day. Her students have gone
on to produce some remarkable work. She works in several mediums, oil being the main one. If you are interested in one of

Home Sweet Home ... an original oil that took first place at the Tehama County Fair art show. It sold that same day! This
was a just-for-fun painting by Anne. It caused quite a stir at the showing.
