Anne's Impressions and Opinions Page

These are my impressions and opinions about everything ranging from school, friends, guys, girls, teachers, and life in general. These opinions are not meant to offend anyone, but if they do please write me at anne@annesworld.cjb.net, and I will read everyone, and respond. However, that does not mean that I will definately change the page. Please read on, and enjoy.

My Impressions About School

1. Teachers always seem to give lots of homework when you have something else to do that night.

2. The books that you read for school can sometimes be good, but after you dissect it for five weeks, you begin to dislike it.

3. Many things that you learn in World & People II will not really be learned, just quickly memorized for the tests. After that, all of the things that you thought you knew, you can't remember anymore.

4. The teachers always show many film strips and movies, and yet never understand why students don't like them. Boring movies and film strips seem just perfect in the teacher's view.

5. Popularity is based on how much you follow fashion trends, who you go out with, who you hang out with, and some strange undescribable thing that seems to have taken place in elementary school.

6. It is the plot of the school administration to not put friends in all of your classes, and if they do, it won't ever happen again, so enjoy it while it lasts.

7. In Connecticut, CAPT tests are given to sophomores. The result goes on your transcript only if you pass. Yet, if you fail, they are not mandatory to take again. It wastes a lot of school time, and no other state does them. So, what is the point?

My Impressions of Life

1. Life sucks, and then you die.

2. But not all of the time.

3. The person that you have a crush on usually seems to not know you exist.

4. Parents always nag you about something.

5. Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.(Oops, wrong impression.)

6. Friends only stay with you while it's good. Unless they are really good friends. Yet, in that case, they still aren't the same to you, and never seem to really understand you again.

7. Most people are superstitious in some way or another.
