Gadgets and Gimmicks |

These were made popular by the Japanese. Sex aids were used by men to please women but nowadays either sex can please each other using sex aids. Using aids during sex is no longer frowned upon and many stores have sprung up selling a wide range of sex toys and other gadgets and gimmicks used to enhance sex.
Dildos are artificial penises of varying sophistication. Some include warmth and ejculatory capacity and built-in vibrators. They go back to the most ancient times. Modern ones have various designs, textures, colours and sizes. They range from life-like synthetic penises to cool metal which provides an interesting sensation. They can be used in the bedroom to add spice to your sex life. Men may be a little hesitamt to use them but once they are assured that dildos are not substitutes but sexual enhancers that provide added pleasure for you (and maybe for him), they will come around.
Chinese balls (also called Japanese rin-no-tama) are hollow ivory or plastic spheres, one empty, one containing mercury and the third a large steel ball and a number of small metal tongues. They can either be inserted (in reverse order) into the vagina or put between the lips of the vagina. Some are single, egg-shaped devices. Movement, including walking then produces a unique pelvic sensation more intermittent and intimate than a vibrator. Some can be used in actual intercourse, others to maintain a steady stimulation-all day if you can take it. Skin gloves and skin thimbles consist of either a whole glove or a series of finger-cots the size of a thimble, each covered with a bristly cloth ranging in texture from soft fur to hard nylon pile with a tuft of bristles where the nail would be on a finger. They are used for erotic massage of the skin in either male or female. With a properly chosen range of bristles and some skill, these can produce an effect which ranges from pleasant to excruciating. Vibrators We can thank the Industrial Revolution for the means of producing mechanical vibrators: in 1869 and 1872, George Taylor patented the first steam powered "massage and vibratory apparatii." These were promptly introduced as a medical apparatus for the treatment of "hysteria": was the lady of the house feeling blue, or depressed, or a little light on equal cultural privileges? What could make her feel better than a bit of "uterine manipulation" by a medical doctor, until her stress dissipated in a series of muscle spasms? The obvious popularity of this treatment drove the vibrator to become a household appliance by 1905. They lingered in the twilight world of novelty devices, or disguised as massagers, until the 1970's when the first vibrator was actually marketed as a sexual accessory. today, vibrators have more varieties including one specifically for the g-spot, the clitoris and for the clitoris and vagina simultaneously. Vibrators also come in a number of shapes such as eggs, bullets and lipsticks. They are very discreet, easy to use and readily available.
