Hello!
This is where I will attempt to help others to understand poor Zelly's messed up family. *sigh* This will explain the concept of Rezo being Zelgadis' Grandfather AND Great-Grandfather. It's not that complex really... Well here I go! First is a pic I made of the Graywards Family Tree! I'd like to thank Thalia at http://rezosgirl.simplenet.com for helping ME understand this concept!

Rezo and His First Wife, Altaira's Side
Okay, Rezo first married Altaira and they had a son named Veldis. But, Altaira died shortly after child birth (I think this could be a factor on how Rezo is/was like now). When Veldis grew up, he married a woman named Sara. Together they had 3 children; Mina, Katara, and Lortan. Mina grew up and married Erik Graywords, what happened to Katara and Lortan? I have NO idea, anyways... Mina and Erik (Erik is the one who caused the "breeding problems", but anyways...) had 3 children; Eris, Melina, and our kawaii Zelgadis! I hope that explains this side of the tree! Now on to the next...

Rezo and His Second "Wife", Galina's Side
Okay, this side is weird. This is the side where all the problems started. Rezo never really married Galina, because neither of them really wanted to. Rezo left for a cure, and was gone so long, he never knew that he had a son with Galina, Erik. So, in turn, Erik never knew that he was related to Rezo and married Rezo's Grand-daughter, Mina. They had 3 children (Who kinda seem to be okay, I guess... Eris is PSYCHO and in love with Rezo, Zel is just, uh... and who nows about Melina...); Eris, Zelgadis, and Melina.
I hope that cleared it up for you, and I hope I didn't just confuse you more. Poor Rezo...Ya know, it's all Galina fault for keeping her mouth shut about Rezo and everything. Oh well *sigh*... At least I'm NOT related to Rezo...That I know of. Oh crap... Anyways, that's Zel's family! Any Questions? |
