Zelgadis is a quiet, serious guy, which makes all the more mysterious. When he was about 12(maybe...) he was turned chimera by his grandfather, Rezo. He said he wanted power, and that's what he got. The Golem allows him protection, making him practically envincible (Other then the Sword of Light), and allows him to cast Shamanist Ground, and he does it quite well I might add. The Demon(Mazoku, in his case it is a Blue Demon) gives him speed and other Shamanist powers, especially those of the Astral Plane. He can cast a wide range of spell from a simple Fireball(That he has fun w/ like dispiring them one after another at random ^_^) to the Ra Tilt, the most powerful attack in Shamanism. He is EXTREMELY cute, despite his appearence. He has the tendency to wonder off on his own saying that "This is his personal problem". You see, he is on a mission to find a cure to turn him back into a human. In Slayers Next, they spend the whole time looking for the Clair Bible, and by Vol. 5, Zel has gone COMPLETELY NUTS looking for it. He even put on make up(intetionally, of his own free will) to try and enter the Brass Raquet Tournament(I want to apoligize right now...My spelling is HORRIBLE!!!!!). But, poor Zelly never gets it! Well he does get it in Episode 2 of Next, but Xellos stole it and then burnt it. Since he is the serious and most sane of the group, they have the most fun with him! They torture him WAY to much in Next! Bunny suits, dresses, backround singer(In the English Version he's not that bad of a singer! ^_^), etc. Well anyways, that's about all I can think of for now. You can see for your self how EXTREMELY SEXY he is!!! He is also a great singer, and MAN where in Shabranigdo did he learn to play a guitar!? Oh well...He's REALLY good at it.
