Anarcho-syndicalism

This page will give you a very short introduction to what anarchist and anarcho-syndicalist ideals are. Before this it would be nice that you study what I posted earlier. I should also say that this a very short introduction so please to learn more study the anarchist FAQ :

Anarchist ideas.

An (anti) archy (power) like the name says stands against power, hierarchy...The reason for this is because power makes the worker, the people slave. We are being told in our society what to do and our liberty is not respected. They say in the constitution that we are allowed to do as we pleased but this is nothing but ink over paper.

In our society, power is in two parts: the State and the bourgiosie ( the company's owners and rich class). They both help each other in order to stay powerful and keep their leadership on the people. Actually most of the times they are both one. As long as this dominant class take decision for us we will not have anything but restriction and slavery. The people needs to wake up for their emancipation. Anarchist ideas offers us many ways to free ourselves from authority.

Anarcho-syndicalist ideas

One of the ways to achieve freedom is to take the leadership, the industry (the mean of production) into our hands and take decisions ourselves by assemblies organisation. This way the boss will stop taking decisions for the company, and thus decide how much her/his profit is, and the workers will lead the company, themselves...When society will be like that, there will be real power to the people. We shall be liberated because those ruling will be the population.

But how do we get there? By organising the working class into syndicates in each industries (trades). The people can have extreme power since if they strike the bosses would be seriously weakened. The powerful have power because the people let them have it. This is why they try to fool us with medias, wars...to keep us on a leash and obedient. Simultenous strikings would lead to the taking over the mean of production.

But isn't the industry owned by the boss? Well it is true that he invested at first but without the worker's effort he would have nothing, not the money invested in the first place either. Workers put bricks together in order to form the factory. Workers produce the goods that will create the revenue of the industry...

Since they produce the finished goods thus the revenue, it belongs to them. Each person produces an amount of article that will have a certain price, then it'll be sold, and the money will be for the industry. The owner wants to get profit. Therefore he pays the workers less from the value they really produced and stays with the difference. If the bosses payed the workers the value of their production they would not have profit. This is why we are underpaid.

We gotta remember that property is thief since when civilisation began there was not private property. At that time, some acquired it by force and by just saying it was for them. Also the rich don't make the products to sell, therefore it isn't hers/his property.

Thus anarcho-syndicalist is an ideology aiming at having the people free from the bosses and the state, their defenders, and this by organising themselves in assemblies and working together in strikings and other methods. Those assemblies will take the mean of production and lead the company. Each person in this assembly has right to a vote and there are no leader or just some representants sometimes for practical purposes but they can be "kicked" whenver the assembly thinks it is primordial.
