Since the government and the corportion with their power are givng a false image of the Black Bloc, it is important that we explain here what it is. I got the present essay in a belgian site and then wrote it in english for you anglo saxon readers.

Blocs or blocs?...But what is this?

We have been hearing about the Black Blocs some years now, especially among revolutionary leftists.

In spite of this, both supporters and enemies of capitalism have mixed feeling about it. The Black Bloc have caused anger and also hope to many even though few are those that know what it really is.

The misterious auras surrounding the movement makes it a contemporary legend and people associate both bad and good things with it, like their motivation as well as their method.

But the truth about it is much more important than all the fantasy stories made by the police and the media. This is the reason why this article is written so to let you understand who? why? how? the anarchists bloc is what it is. We are proposing here to a defence to the Bloc (why deny it?) but we want you to make up your own mind.

What is the Black Bloc?

The Bloc is made up of different people and affinity group (a usually small group getting together when demonstration takes place in order to struggle in a group) that get totgether spontaneoly during protests.

This is not an organisation nor a centralised networks of "terrorists".
