Nelson joined Arsenal just before the 1998-99 season. Presumably Arsene Wenger signed him for his world cup performance with the Argentine national squad. His skill at Arsenal was quickly shown when he bore the cold against Leeds and ran the entire match. He will no doubt play a huge part in our success this year.
