I'm trying to get WinFax & Saplpd to work together. I have followed all the doc's on setting this up. However, one area I am unclear on is the configuration within SPAD.

If I designate the device's Host Spool Access Method as S - for Print on LPDHost via SAP Protocol, it keeps asking for a Switching Computer even after I enter the default Spool Server.

What/Where is the Switching Computer?

See if you have all this set :-

1) Make sure you have the IP address of the WINFAX machine with LPD installed in the HOSTS file

2) In SPAD - make sure you have SAPWIN as device type and make sure you have the destination host (should be same as what you put in hosts file from (1) above. For the Device class, make sure you have F for FAX................host access method is S................

The switching computer is where your saplpd + sapfax.dll is residing in. This will need to reside in your winfax pro server.
