My favorite muse - my beautiful friend, Meghann, from college (GO FORDHAM RAMS!!) - never stays away from my drawing board, for long. When people say "her smile lights up a room", they definitely had Meghann, in mind! Her radiant smile made naming this picture very easy. :-)

The beautifully-fit, female form is so wonderful to behold! With all of that sensationally-sexy muscle molding her frame, who would believe how seemingly easy it would be, for her, to balance all of it on one foot? I dont have all of that fantastic sinew - and I couldn't hold THAT pose, if my life depended on it!

I have drawn and painted her, on many occasions...but, I always relish the opportunity to try to capture her essence, again!

The "map" of a beautiful body can be as intricate and captivating as the map of a country. The only reason people may not recognize the human body as a "map" is because they are, perhaps, accustomed to viewing a person as a whole...or, at least, to viewing the individual parts in a denigrating or devaluing manner. But, all "maps" are beautiful, in every form...as long as you appreciate the parts as well as the sum of them.
