Olympia Weekend Expo: Las Vegas Convention Center - September 30, 2006
Every year, my wife and I attend the Olympia Weekend Expo, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Expo is always held on the October weekend when the biggest bodybuilding contests, of the year, are held: The Mr. Olympia, The Ms. Olympia, and The Fitness Olympia. The site is always filled with bodybuilders, female bodybuilders, and fitness athletes - the models whom I often use in my art. The event is a great chance to see some of my favorite "bodies" in person....and it's also a wonderful opportunity to see random famous folks and get free "stuff"! I should know: I saw the infamous boxer, Mike Tyson, I got tons of free protein bars and shakes and t-shirts (13, at last count...), and I won over $1,000.00 in free exercise equipment (gotta keep the bod in shape, now don't I?)! Not bad, for a day's play, eh?
