I'm sick of meaningless similes and metaphors - I hate really flowery writing. I think it's ten times better when people say something honestly instead of using abstractions to make their observations seem justified. I've seen this in art, too, and it's frustrating.

"Say Something Real" (#57)
I'm sick of your stretched and empty words.
You'll say anything just to be heard.
It's too much work to see who you really are.

Say something real.
Stop comparing life to a starry night.
Don't tell me love is like this and that.

Say something real.
You can't say betrayal is like a stab,
when you've never been stabbed before.
