#001. This Is My Every Day: Really an intro to the rest of the poems, because (1) it's the first one, (2) it introduces the theme of the poems (i.e. I didn't expect to be writing any happy poems), and (3) the title is also the title of the project. I think it's the perfect opener.
#002. Arrested Development: Part of the reason I started this project is it surprises me how many people still go to those old 100 in 100 pages even though I took the links to them down years ago. And so I read through those pages myself after all these years, and some of them really still apply to me, though I feel I should have outgrown some of it. (Plus I've been re-watching the show Arrested Development and so the term is in my head.)
#003. Amnesia: Self-explanatory, really. The best part is really the conclusion. I guess the dual meaning of "sleep" is used a lot, but it works for me.
#004. Love Isn't Supposed to Be Forever: I wanted to make this 100 in 100 the definitive one, and write about everything that was ever important to me. And it wouldn't be a 100 in 100 without a poem about this guy.
#005. I'll Stay As Long As You Want Me To: To the melody of "Han Byeol" by BoA. My favorite thing about it is how it just gets more and more desperate as it goes on.
#006. suicide bomber: Offensive maybe, but thematically appropriate.
#007. Life is Not a Gift: Believe it or not, this is kind of an optimistic poem. For me.
#008. Grandpa: The structure is supposed to give the impression of disappearing.
#009. Grandpa II: R.I.P. Grandpa: 12/11/25 - 4/12/11.
#010. Speaking French: Inspired by Madame Figaro.
#011. Haru no Yume (Spring Dream): Once again the Spring breeze has blown in... // The town has come back to life / The streets are full of people / Even my heart feels like it's about to get excited // But in the end it's impossible / My heart will never / Come back to life again // Once again the Spring breeze has blown in / But for me it's just the same old season #012. Grandpa III: As short as it was, at least I was able to come to terms with my grandfather's death through this 100 in 100.
#013. My Solitude: Inspired by the instrumental song "solitude" from Ayu's Rock 'n' Roll Circus concert.

Obviously, this 100 IN 100 didn't last very long. I was really into it, but I got self-conscious partway through it. Hope you enjoyed what's here. See you on the next one.
