Though it may feel like a thousand,
I've been sleeping for just four years --
Four years is a short time for some things,
And a long time for others --
Naturally, after four years of sleeping,
I've forgotten how to wake up.

Though it may seem like forever ago,
I fell in love just six years ago -- And for the second time just a year ago --
But no matter how many years pass,
Naturally, after loving someone so much,
I've never been able to forget them.

And though it may seem like my heart is breaking,
It still goes on beating just like before.
