Brief History: His father was an army general in the Great War, and when Jack was born, was a highly respected and decorated officer. Jack was the second of three kids; and was shunned by his older brother and younger sister.
Unlike his siblings, Jack idolized his father. He would pay awe-filled attention to his father whenever he sat down and told war stories, while his brother and sister would go off and do their own thing, not caring about their father's tales nor the ideals he attempted to instill in them. While they were disinterested, Jack was fascinated. He had overwhelming pride for his father, and wanted to be just like him someday. He would study all sorts and forms of law and enforcement, wanting to someday make a difference like his father had. He rarely played games with his siblings, and when he did, they were typically the bad guys and he was the good guy. He never found it too appealing to entertain himself with them.
Aside from his brother and sister, his life was ideal--loving mother, attentive and supportive father. And then, not long after the war ended, Jack's father was brutally killed. No one knew who did it, no one even had a clue. But it hit the Weasel family hard-- Pacafee ran away, and Nikkola left soon thereafter, and their mother died of lonliness and a broken heart, leaving Jack alone and very angry with the world. His views of law and order and upholding the peace left him, and he went to a life of crime and other illegal activity. He frequently stole from stores and houses, and did coke and marijuana and the like, and drank alcohol like water. It became worse and worse until one day, on a drunken stroll through the city limits, he met a young skunk child, and engaged in a verbal then physical conflict. Being older and bigger, Jack easily overpowered the child, and in a fit of rage, killed him. He stood for a few minutes after, realized what he had done, and ran away to his dwelling, and remained there for an extended amount of time. During that time, he virtually transformed his entire attitude, habits, and look in general. He stopped doing drugs and drinkin cold, and once again pursued becoming a police officer. His transformation had a strange effect on him--he became very sarcastic, and developed a sense of humor that wouldn't quit for anything. He cut himself off from feeling any sort of bad emotion; rage, hatred, fear, sorrow, and any negativity became buried and forgotten, replaced by a seemingly nutty person with a sunny outlook and always cracked wise. Before long, he became an officer of the law, and rose through the ranks to become sheriff, which was his goal in life. When it came to his job and taking down criminals, he becomes serious and professional, yet still, an air of good humor surrounds him.
Somewhere down the line, through Bo, he befriended Amanda. While not too entirely close, he considers the two of them his best friends in the whole world, and would do anything for them.. even fight alongside them in a war he never really approved of, but subconciously is happy to have; in a way, it gives him another sense of improtance and purpose, and to be that much closer to making his father proud.
He has all but forgotten the murder he once committed; it now only appears to him in nightmares.. and seems to be only that, a nightmare. He never got caught for what he did, though the body was found, no one was ever caught. It became just another unsolved murder, destined to be forgotten...

Along with his apparent inability to express any sort of emotion other than happy and serious, he also shut himself off of feeling love. He cares for his friends and loves them like they were truly his brothers and sisters, but never allowed himself to feel true love. Of late, his barriers seem to have developed a fault, and warm fuzzy feelings are beginning to well up.. and scare and confuse him. Such feelings attacking him now are bound to have reprocussions, such as saying and doing things that could hurt himself or someone else. He refuses to say he even is falling for anyone, yet is inexplicably drawn to Hope LesMercy, and, perhaps due to confusion, Amanda as well. He doesn't know what would happen if he allowed his feelings to show, and is afraid to find out...
