Many say that Asuka is a mean, annoying, ungrateful, brat.  (Seeing how mean she is to Shinji and the others)  Let 'z say you are 14 and your pazt consisted of a father abandoning you and a mother going insane and hanging herself.  Do you think you'd have the ability to not to want to shut yourself from the world?  I know I'd probably do the same thing.  Learning to love and need friendz iz some of the hardezt thingz to do.
      Running from the hurt of her pazt iz what makez Asuka who she iz, but you should note you can't run forever and your pazt will catch up with you sooner or later.  It may seem Asuka'z only love iz "her" Eva 02, but you will understand of her care and love when she later almozt diez to save her Eva friendz in Eva series 5-13 "End of Evangelion".  Behind thoze hard, cold blue eyez there iz a child that can love.
