| Josh stormed onto the scene as a freshman as he won 28 matches and placed 7th at the Mat Classic. He was on his way to bigger things as a sophomore, but got derailed in a controversial match with Othello's Casey McCourtie. Josh had a great sophomore season otherwise. 2 tournament championships and 2 runner-ups. Josh wrestled in probably the toughest weightclass in the CWAC as all five state participants medaled. He had some memorable matches against eventual state champion Danny Villareal of Othello. Josh will be back this year with an even greater desire to make it back to state.
