Bunning pitched for Detroit (AL) 1955-1963; Philadelphia (NL) 1964-1967, 1970-1971; Pittsburgh (NL) 1968-1969; and Los Angeles (NL) 1969. He pitched in 591 games, made 519 starts and pitched 40 shutouts. All of Bunning's shutouts were with one catcher.
