He pitched in 623 games, made 529 starts and pitched 69 shutouts. Plank's dearest friend, Mike "Doc" Powers caught 206 of his first 282
starts. The last one was in the opener against Boston at Shibe Park on April 12, 1909, two weeks before Power's untimely death.
