Babe Ruth's Battery Mates


Ruth pitched for Boston (AL) 1914-1919 and New York (AL) 1920-1921, 1930, 1933. He pitched in 163 games, made 148 starts and pitched 17 shutouts. He threw 107 complete games and led the league in ERA (1.75) in 1916. Two of Ruth's shutouts were with more than one catcher.
