The lefthanded-hitting Brumley was an all-star three consecutive years in the minors,
but hit only .244 as the Senators' regular catcher in 1964. His son, Mike, Jr., reached
the majors with the Cubs in 1987 as a Shortstop.
Mike is presently the Manager of the Salt Lake Stingers, a AAA affiliate of the Anaheim Angels.
