Silver Slugger - Catcher Award Winners
Since the creation in 1980 of the Silver Slugger Award by Hillerich & Bradsby Company and the first catcher recipients, Ted Simmons and Lance Parrish, there have been twenty-two different catchers who have won the award. No catcher has won awards in both leagues. There have been 10 catchers who have won multiple awards and 13 catchers with a single award. The list (thru 2011) of Most Silver Sluggers is:
