Basic Tae Kwon Do actions
- 1. Low BLock
- The first Tae Kwon Do action. A basic low block meant to
block a middle punch or kick.
- 2. High Block
- The second Tae Kwon Do action. A basic high block meant to
protect from a strike from above
- 3. Middle Punch
- The third Tae Kwon Do action. A straight punch to your
opponents solar plexus. Hitting with the first two knuckles.
- 4. High Punch
- The fourth Tae Kwon Do action. A straight punch to your
opponents head. You should be able to just see over your two knuckles.
- 5. Outside Block
- The fifth Tae Kwon Do action. A block that goes from the
inside to the outside. meant to protect the mid section from a middle attack.
- 6. Inside Block
- The sixth Tae Kwon Do action. A block that comes right off
the hip and is meant to either block inward or used as a strike to the opponents ribs.
- 7. Reinforced Outside Block
- The seventh Tae Kwon Do action. A stonger outside block.
Very similar to the fifth Tae Kwon do action.
- 8. Finger Strike
- The eigth Tae Kwon Do action. A finger strike to the solar
plexus of your opponent using the first, second and third fingers.
- 9. High Block/ Neck Chop
- The ninth Tae Kwon Do action. A combination of Tae Kwon Do
action two and hand technique number one. It combines a high block to protect against a
downward strike while at the same time striking your opponents neck.

- 10. Outside Block
- The tenth Tae Kwon Do action. A basic outside block very
similar to Tae Kwon Do action number 5. Except that this action is performed from a side
stance.
- 11. Downward Strike
- The eleventh Tae Kwon Do action. A back fist strike in a
downward trajectory. Performed in a side stance.
- 12. Inside Block
- The twelfth Tae Kwon Do action. A simple inside block/
strike that protects the mid section or attacks the opponents ribs. Very Similar to Tae
Kwon Do action six, except that this one is performed in a side stance.
- Open hand 13. Knife Hand Low Block /
Chop
- The thirteenth Tae Kwon Do action. A more advanced low block
using a knife or ridge hand to block a low or middle attack.
- Open hand 14. Knife Hand Middle Block /
Chop
- The fourteenth Tae Kwon Do action. A more advanced middle
block that uses the ridge or knife hand to block an attack to soloplexis region.
- Open hand 15. Knife Hand High Block /
Chop
- The fifteenth Tae Kwon Do action. Like the last two actions
this is a more advanced block to protect the head region from a straight or side attack.
Again it uses the open ridge or knife hand.
- Two hand 16. Low Block
- The sixteenth Tae Kwon Do action. An advanced two hand block
used to protect the groin region from an upward attack.
- Two hand 17. Two Handed Middle Block
- The seventeenth Tae Kwon Do action. A two handed action that
blocks and/or catches a Linear attack. Arms are extended forward and elbows are locked.
- Two hand 18. High Block
- The eighteenth Tae Kwon Do action. A two handed overhead
block to protect the head from a downward strike.
- 19. Low Block (side stance)
- The nineteenth Tae Kwon Do action. A basic low block very
similar to the first Tae Kwon Do action, except that this action is performed in a side
stance.
- 20. High Block (side stance)
- The twentyith Tae Kwon Do action. A basic high block very
similar to the second Tae Kwon Do action, except that this action is performed in a side
stance.
- 21. Two hand Low Block (side stance)
- The twenty first Tae Kwon Do action. An advanced low block
exactly the same as Tae Kwon Do action thirteen except that the hands are in fists.
- 22. Sweep
- The twenty second Tae Kwon Do action. An advanced leg sweep
with a two hand open hand block.
- 23. Crescent Kick with elbow strike
- The twenty third Tae Kwon do action. The first (and only)
Tae Kwon Do action with a kick. Involves a crescent kick into a kimase stance followed
emidiatly by a elbow strike to your opponent.
- 24. Middle Punch
- The twenty fourth Tae kwon Do action. Exactly the same as
Tae kwon Do action number three except in this action the fist striking is opposite of the
leg forward.
- 25. High Punch
- The twenty fifth Tae Kwon Do action. Exactly the same as Tae
kwon Do action number four, except that in this action the fist striking is the opposite
of the leg forward.
- 26. Neck Strike
- The twenty sixth Tae Kwon Do action. A open hand forward
strike to the opponents neck. Same motion as in Tae Kwon Do action number twelve, just
with an open hand.
- 27. Head Grab Elbow Strike
- The twenty seventh Tae Kwon Do action. A grab with an elbow
strike.
- 28. Kimase Punch
- The twenty eighth Tae Kwon Do action. A straight punch to
the side from Kimase stance
- 29. Middle Punch
- The twenty ninth Tae Kwon Do action. A grab followed by a
middle punch from side stance.
- 30. Elbow Strike
- The thirtieth Tae Kwon Do action. An elbow strike from
kimase stance.
- 31. Finger Strike
- The thirty first Tae Kwon Do action. A finger strike to the
opponents throat.
- 32. Reinforced Circle Block
- The thirty second Tae Kwon Do action. A circle block which
would redirect a linear attack.
- 33. Palm Heel
- The thirty third Tae Kwon Do action. A palm heel variation
directed at the opponents face, specifically the nose. Instead of a normal Palm heel this
involves slightly cupped hand.
- 34. Shoulder Grab
- The thirty fourth Tae Kwon Do action. A grab of the
opponents shoulders. Action starts with the fingers underneath the arm pits and quickly
the arms are extended out to grab the opponent.
- 35. Double Rib Strike
- The thirty fifth Tae Kwon Do action. A two fisted strike to
the opponents ribs from the outside. Fists start at the belt and quickly extent outward in
a punch like motion and at the last second rotate to strike inward towards the opponents
ribs.
- 36. Finger Block
- The thirty sixth and final Tae Kwon Do action. Two circle
blocks that redirect the opponents attack using two fingers on each hand.
