SPECIAL TRIBUTE TO THE VICTIMS OF 9.11.01

A word of thanks

I did not know any victims of this tragedy, but my heart goes out to each and every one that was lost due to a cruel, sick individual. I hesitate to call this a "person". I have cried daily. My prayers have been going out to all persons effected.
The moment has backfired in the terrorists face. They have made us stronger. Flags fly from the backs of pick-up trucks, off cars, in their windows. Flags are being flown with a pride that has renewed our dying appreciation for America.
God has kept us. He is with us. What the terrorists have done is drive our country back to God, where we left Him, the Alpha and Omega. He didn't leave us. We took prayer out of school, took the pledge of allegiance out of school because it says "one nation, under God", which we are.
Postive things have came out of this horrific tragedy, we are hungry again for the things of God. Our money even has "in God we trust". . . did we really?

I am an EMT and volunteered to go to New York to help, but, the offers were so plentiful, I wasn't needed. Why has it taken this to be kind to one another? How long will this last? or, is this a "new beginning"?

To those on Flight 93, words cannot express the appreciation and admiration to the courage that was shown. What fear must have been pumping through your veins, but you cared enough about others to intercede in an unjustice against the USA. Tears are flowing now as I think about what must have been happening once the attack was underway.
My heart aches for the families left, but what a story, a story of courage. Bless you all.

Please remember to continue to pray as never before, pray without ceasing. Pray for our country, our leaders, all of the military persons that are defending OUR freedom. Knowing, that it may be them that doesn't return from duty. Pray for their strength. Write letters of enouragement to them. Most of all, pray that this war we are about to embark in, does NOT go on for years, may it end quickly, without too much blood shed from our troops. And, go witness. Ask your neighbor if they know Jesus Christ as their savior. Go pray for those that are shut in, residing in nursing homes, or visit a hosptial. let your light shine.

God bless you President Bush. I applaud you on your stand you have taken. God bless our country.

In God we trust,
Beth

Isaiah 40:31-
But they that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.
