D.D. Kosambi
This site gives an introduction to the life and some of the works of Damodar Dharmanand Kosambi, the pioneering Indian historian. The articles at this site have been OCRed and proof read, however, if you find any mistakes, please write to me.
There is a new book published by Oxford
University Press, New Delhi. It is a collection of some of the
articles and essays by Kosambi, most of them previously
unpublished in book form. It has been edited by Dr. B.
Chattopadhyayya and is titled: Methods in Indology (2002).
Another book, which is a fictionalized account of Kosambi's life is: The Family of the Sun by Indrayani Sawkar, DD Kosambi's niece. It has been published by Popular Prakashan (2000).
