Collar Sizing:
First take a sewing tape measure or a piece of string and wrap it around the dogs neck. Right above the base on the neck. What we will do is take that number and make that the middle hole on the collar. Giving the collar 3" both ways. (for example; say you measure the neck to be 19" the collar will fit dogs from 16" at the tightest hole up to 22" at the loosest hole.)
Harness Sizing:
We need only one measurement when sizing for a harness. That is the chest size, not across but around. Simply take a piece of rope or a sewing tape measure and wrap it around the dog right behind his front legs. This is the number people are referring to when they talk about harness size. Here is a table to help you find out where your dog would fall. |
