[35] 1852 A.D.South Carolina IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN Sumter
District I, Henry Hudnall of the District and State aforesaid, do make and
ordain this my last Will and Testament, revoking all former wills by me made.
1st. I give and bequeath unto my wife Jane E. Hudnall during her natural
lifetime or widowhood, one Negro name named Sam. One Negro man named Amos.
One Negro woman named Hannah; all my stock of cattle which I shall not
hereinafter dispose of otherwise, all my stock of hogs which I shall not
otherwise dispose of. Ten head of sheep, one wagon, two mules called Little
and Big Jack; all my household and kitchen furniture except what I shall
hereafter otherwise dispose of; one clock. But immediately after the death or
marriage of my said wife Jane E. Hudnall that I give all the above named
property to my daughter Martha F. Hudnall, should the said Martha be alive at
that time but should the said Martha be dead at the time of the death or
marriage of my said wife then the above named to be equally divided between my
four sons or the survivor of them.

OF GOD AMEN Sumter District I, Henry Hudnall of the District and State
aforesaid, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament, revoking all
former wills by me made... ... 7th. I give and bequeath unto my daughter
Sarah D. Davis one Negro child named Kitt."

ordain this my last Will and Testament, revoking all former wills by me made...
...I give, devise, and bequeath unto my daughter Parthena Stokes one tract of
land in Santee Swamp containing two hundred and forty-four acres."

[37] "State of South Carolina Sumter District ersonally appeared I. N. Hudnall
who being duly sworn sayeth that he did see John Hodge sign, seal and
acknowledge the written instrument to be his deed and be depos..... that the
said Henry Hudnall sign as a witness with himself to the same. Ilay
N. Hudnall sworn to before me this 30th day of November 1843 Henry
Hudnall Recorded 1 February 1844"

IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I, John Hodge of Sumter District (Planter) being of
sound and disposing mind and memory do make and ordain this as my last will and
testament in manner and form following viz.- First: It is my wish and
desire that all my property both real and personal remain in
the hands of my executors here in after named until all of my just debts are
paid. Item: I lend to my wife Frances Hodge the following
Negros viz.- Nora, Jude, and her two children (little Phillis
and little Anthony) Ola Phillis and Ola Dinah with their future
increase and issue during her natural life and at her death to be
equally divided among the living children of James D. Hodge, Benjamin R.
Hodge and Harriet T. Thigpen to share and share alike. Item:
I give to my Granddaughter Martha F. Hudnall one Negro girl so named Hannah
together with her future issue and increase forever."
