Welcome to the Big S Ranch, located in Thrall, Texas (Williamson County). This page is dedicated to my little 45 acres of heaven. This photo shows the current "ranch house" (2 bedrooms and a foyer!) I hope to show the evolution of the Big S from a mesquite- and briar-infested chunk of raw land to a working Longhorn ranch. Take a look at a satellite photo of the ranch from 1995. The ranch runs from the road at the top of the photo to Brushy creek at the bottom, between the two white lines.
Check out my tractor. It is a 1950 Ford 8N (#8N284922). I'm going to clean it up a little, use it for a couple of years, and then completely restore it.BR>
I have included genealogical information on the Stukes family of Manning, South Carolina, and the Todd family of Webster County, Missouri.
