JEROME, MY JERBOA

There never was a traveller
To match my pet jerboa;
He's climbed up Krakatoa,
He went to Shenandoah.

He'd even been to Ararat
(He thought he might meet Noah);
And one night in Balboa
He met Mies van der Rohe.*

He packed his bags a year ago,
(He really is a goer);
He planned to say "Aloha !"
To some people in Samoa.

He stopped off first in India;
(He spent three days in Goa),
Where he met a snake - a boa;
That's all...
He is no moa.
