Space: The Final Frontier... Admiral James T. Kirk (William Shatner), Mr. Spock (Leonard Nimoy), Sulu, Scotty and Lieutenant Uhura are all back in this adventure. They are joined by some new characters including Lieutenant Saavik and Drs. Carol and David Marcus. After a new method of "terraforming" is created by Starfleet scientists, the search is on for a suitable lifeless planet to test it on. Unfortunately, the location chosen is home to Khan Noonien Singh (Ricardo Montalban), an old enemy of Kirk and the Enterprise. After several rounds of "cat-and-mouse," the two larger-than-life figures finally meet. The battle finds Kirk in the sights of his enemy with his ship severely crippled, escape seemingly impossible. The resolution works... but requires someone to pay the highest possible price.
