Wannabe superhero Ed Gruberman (Justin Whalin) possesses no super powers of any sort, but fancies himself as something special. He joins a team of misfit heroes in training known as the Super Capers. When the group discovers a plot involving gold bullion, an alluring but dangerous woman, and a powerful criminal, Ed finds himself traveling back through time to prevent a disaster in the making. When Ed discovers that the criminal knows secrets about Ed's past, things become even more complicated. Will Ed overcome his difficulties and shortcomings and find his superhero talents in time to stop this terrible disaster from happening?
