Slam Dunk

Summary

Slamdunk is about Sakuragi Hanamichi, a freshman gangster at Shohoku High School. He is part of the five member Sakuragi gang and was rejected by 50 girls during his years in middle school. At Shohoku, he met Haruko, sister of Shohoku's basketball team captain. She introduced Sakuragi to the world of basketball. Sakuragi decided to join the basketball team, using this to try and win Haruko's heart. Yet, Haruko had already fall in love with Rukawa Kaede, the new freshman rookie of the team. Because of this, Sakuragi never passes the ball to Rukawa in their games or practices. Even though Sakuragi is a beginner in basketball, he learns the basketball skills extremely quickly, and becames one of the vital members of the team.This story is about the Shohoku basketball team, and their games on the way towards winning the national championship, which is their ultimate goal and dream.
