Old News and Updates:

4/15/03   DBZGT Legacy was my favorite Dragonball site.  It was where I turned when Planet Namek left.  They provided quality in the presense of quanity.  However, its creators are moving on. The following is a post by Tim of Legacy: "Dragonball Z has finally ended here in the United States, and it may now be the time to move on.  Although I have no idea how long DBZGTLegacy will be open, I know that a new site has taken shape and is close to launching.  As we saw last week, Mandrew quit Legacy to join a Yu Yu site, but mentioned a secret project I was working on.  That Project is Kiji-Anime.  This new site has an allstar staff, including fRaNk and Deano of DBGTN, Mandrew and Daniel Kurland and Tim from Legacy, Steve from KyleHebert.com, as well as a few others.  The launch of this new Anime site will be May 1."  Maybe I should consider joining up with them or at least work with them on a few projects, if they will have me that is.

4/12/03   There are 18 new Cowboy Bebop pics in their Image Gallery 2.  Also, I will be adding some new animes to my site over time.  They are Trigun, Inu Yasha, and Yu Yu Hakusho.  Their additions will go hand-in-hand with a newly designed and more efficient navigation system.

4/9/03   The following is some news from DBZGT Legacy:  "All of the episodes of Dragon Ball GT will be available to our fans (uncut), in both dubbed and subbed versions.  The release on April 15th will begin right before the Baby Saga.  The original Japanese opening (the "Dan Dan" song), commercial bumpers, ending and next episode preview are included on every episode (subbed).  Yes they did skip the first 15 episodes but they have confirmed they will release those skipped episodes.  They also mentioned they have a SSJ4 Goku shirt for anyone that purchases the first four DVDs I am assuming through the ZStore.  So there ya go... that is what is on the horizon for DBGT. Still no TV date."

4/5/03   I added 15 new Zoids New Century Zero images to their gallery.  In anime news, Dragonball Z Movie 8 is offically set to be released on August 26, 2003.  The final episode of DBZ airs Monday, so don't miss it.

4/1/03   I am Back!  No really, I am, so you can start visiting my site again.  I added a new article to my Headlines humor section titled "Time to Say Adieu to Pepe Le Pew".  It is a satire I wrote about the French opposition to the war in Iraq and how people are renaming and boycotting everything French.  In other news, Trigun is now airing weeknights on Adult Swim.  I have never seen this anime, but I have heard nothing but good things so I am looking forward to it. The new schedule for Adult Swim is as follows:

Futurama 11:00 EST / 10:00 CST
Home Movies 11:30 EST / 10:30 CST
Trigun 12:00 EST / 11:00 CST
InuYasha 12:30 EST / 11:30 CST
Cowboy Bebop 1:00 EST / 12:00 CST
Reign 1:30 EST / 12:30 CST

3/16/03   I'm back!  I am sorry that I haven't updated in a while.  I have been busy with a play, mock trial, and the production of an art awareness interactive cd.  In terms of a site update, there are 15 new Zoids New Century Zero images.
And now for some news...  As most of you know, Toonami is being revamped.  Tom and the spaceship will be changed.  More importantly, the final episodes of DBZ will start Monday, March 17.  Rurouni Kenshin also will be added to the lineup.  The schedule is as follows:

5:00- G Gundam
5:30- Dragonball Z (Final Episodes)
6:00- Yu Yu Hakusho
6:30- Rurouni Kenshin (New Series)

3/3/03   There are 9 new Cowboy Bebop pics in Images 2.  Due to size restrictions I was forced to reconfigure my image galleries.  Instead of having one big gallery for each anime, I had to split each into 2 smaller galleries.  Images 1 is the old gallery, and Images 2 contains new images.  The Cowboy Bebop and DBZ galleries are split like this.

2/26/03   According to tentative schedules released by the network, fan-favorite anime series Trigun premieres on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programming block March 31.  In addition, Inuyasha returns to the block at 12:30 a.m., while Lupin the Third temporarily leaves the block.  Here's the new tentative schedule, effective March 31:

11:00 p.m. - Futurama
11:30 p.m. - Home Movies
12:00 a.m. - Trigun
12:30 a.m. - Inuyasha
1:00 a.m. - Cowboy Bebop
1:30 a.m. - Reign: The Conqueror

I personally cannot wait until Trigun makes it's first apearance on Cartoon Network.  I have still yet to see the series but from most of the opinions I get I conclude that it is a good series.  With the recent airing of Evangelion, Nadesico and soon to be airing of Kenshin on Toonami, I think it may be a matter of time before we see Trigun on Toonami.  For all the heat they take with their edits, Cartoon Network has most certainly done it's part to bring anime into the forefront of American Media.  Source: SaiyanZ Rage.

2/22/03   I added a new page to my Cowboy Bebop section titled Episode Previews.  It lists the dialogue of the closing previews for each episode.  The previews of Cowboy Bebop are unique.  Some serious and some humorous, they are more conversational rather than actual previews.  Speaking of Cowboy Bebop... Newtype USA has confirmed that Cowboy Bebop: The Movie will be released in US theaters on Friday, April 4th.  Future details about the release will be available from Sony's website.
Also, Toonami's "Giant Robot Week" will begin on Monday, February 24.  It will feature Neon Genesis Evangelion, Dai-Guard, Robotech, and Martian Successor Nadesico.  They are not going to be showing the whole series- it's just for the week.  I'll be interested on seeing the outcome and possible reactions by various organizations.

2/19/03   News, news, and even more news...
-According to this article from Animation Insider, a new Zoids series will air on Cartoon Network this Fall. CN has ordered 26 episodes of the new series but nothing is known about the plot line at this time.
-FUNimation has taken steps to turn Yu Yu Hakusho into a DBZ-sized marketing phenomenon. The show has moved to Toonami, scheduled to air right after Dragon Ball Z, in order to best position Hakusho in the minds of the maturing DBZ audience. Jakks Pacific, new owners of the DBZ toy license, have signed on to create Hakusho action figures. Score, publishers of the DBZ card game, will sell a Hakusho-based CCG.
-Bandai, the game's publisher in east Asia, today announced that Dragon Ball Z: Budokai, the PS2 fighting game on the TV Series, has sold more than 1.94 million units in 20 countries worldwide. The game was published in the United States by Infogrames. This figure includes no sales from Japan, where the game was only just released on the 13th, thus proving that the franchise has developed some very strong legs outside its home country.
-Funimation has publicly announced at various 2002 conventions that their intention to redub seasons 1 and 2 of DBZ (the Ocean Dub) once Pioneer's rights expired. So eventually, you'll have a never before uncut version available. A specific date is unknown at this time but you can be sure we will update you.
-Issue #1 of Shonen Jump has reached the highest number of sales numbers ever recorded by a comic book in America. Never has their been one release that has sold more copies.
-Rurouni Kenshin which will be coming to Toonami shortly with edits coming in the areas of blood and language. The show WILL NOT have a second run-through so make sure to catch it when you can. It will air weekdays at 6:30EST beginning March 17th.

2/15/03   I added a new page of Humor titled "Skool Escuses".  In other news, DBGT is off to a rocky start.  The official site released the shows theme song, along with an action-packed preview of the series in Flash.  The bad thing isn't the preview, it's the theme song!  Rap?!  It doesn't belong in Dragonball.  I was in complete and utter awe of how horrible it sounded.  And to add insult to injury, apparently you can be a star by SINGING the new GT song in a contest.  Not only is the song horrible, but now KAREOKE?!  Lord, have mercy...

2/11/03   I am sorry that I haven't posted in a while.  I have been sick.  All I have for you today is some news.  First, the new Dragonball GT site is up and running.  You can see it Here.  Also, the schedule for the final remaining episodes of DBZ is as follows:

2/5/03   There are 12 new Cowboy Bebop images in their gallery.  In other news, I bet DBZ fans are wondering when will the new episodes start.  The final 14 episodes will air this coming March.  However, I don't know the exact date just yet.  Also, making its way to Toonami will be Yu Yu Hakusho.  Trigun as well will hit Cartoon Network in April on Adult Swim.

2/2/03   I added 2 new Zoids to the Zoid Units section, the Lightning Saix and the Raynos.  In other news, Dragonball Z Budokai is available for pre-order for the Nintendo GameCube at EBgames.com.  Its expected release date is August 26, 2003.  Also available for pre-order is Dragonball Z Legacy II for Gameboy Advance.

1/29/03   I added 9 new DB images and 9 new Classic Zoids images to their galleries.  Also, AnimeNewsNetwork.com just posted a press release from Cartoon Network that it will air Neon Genesis Evangelion, Robotech, Dai-Guard, and Martian Successor Nadesico as part of a Giant Robot Week beginning on Monday, February 24th.  The following is the schedule:

1/18/03   Back in action...  I got my computer back.  I have an update for you.  There are 15 new Cowboy Bebop images, so check them out.  Also, there is a new Gif of the Week above made by me.  Additionally, the new navigation system should be up in a week or two.  I have some new stuff on the way.  The following is the new schedule for Cartoon Network as of Monday, January 13th:

12/28/02   I hope you all had a Merry Christmas (whatever your denomination may be).  I am back with an update.  Info on the Gunsniper and Storm Sworder have been added to the Zoid Units section.  Also, there is another new Gif of the Week above.
Now for some news...  The California-based company Jakks Pacific has bought the rights for DBZ Toys from the now bankrupt Irwin Toys.  Also, TechTV has announced a contest to create an anime-style TechTV logo to coincide with the launch of their "Anime Unleashed" programming block.  The TechTV staff will look over the entries, and the best design will be used on-air as the official 'Anime Unleashed' logo!  Submissions for the new design are due by January 2003.  As a final bit of news, the Official Dragonball Z website has got their new layout version up.  They also got some new features, so go check them out.  You can click here to visit the site.

12/21/02   There are 12 new Classic Zoids images and 14 new New Century/Zero images in theirs galleries.  There is another new GIF of the Week above too.  I am almost done redesigning the site navigation with Flash.  I should have a sample version up in a short time for you to preview.

12/18/02   He's alive...  I am sorry that I haven't upated in a while.  I have been busy with school.  I should have something new up by the end of the week.  On the plus side, I am redesigning the navigation system for the site.  I am interesting in knowing if you would rather have it stay as it is now or be animated with flash.  If you don't have flash, I plan on including a link so that you will be able to download it.  You can give me your response in the Poll to the right.
In anime news...  There is an interesting interview with Laura Civiello at Anime Network about TechTv's "Anime Unleashed".  You can read it Here.  Just in case you don't know, Laura Civiello is the Director of Programming Development responsible for acquiring television programming, developing co-production relationships, and commissioning original production.
Just as an interesting bit of info, Dragonball was the most searched topic on Lycos for for 2002, ahead of Kazaa and Yu-Gi-Oh.  It became the first topic to ever repeat as the #1 topic on Lycos 50 for a year.  This should come as no surprise to our Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z fans.

12/11/02   Welcome to my Christmas layout, or "Holiday" layout for all you politically correct people. It is not really much of a layout.  It's just a top banner, but you get the idea.  In the news... SFGate has posted an article about the history of Viz Communications and their recent introduction of Shonen Jump to the American market.  It is a very interesting and informative article.  You can read it Here.

12/8/02   I wish I had a PS2 so I could play Dragonball Z Budokai (sigh).  The following is some anime news that I thought you should be aware of...

Mobile Suit Gundam – Char’s Counterattack will be broadcast on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim block on December 28th, 2002 at 11 pm.

Also, Cartoon Network has acquired broadcast rights for Trigun, Lupin the Third, and Reign.  Lupin the Third will air Monday-Thursday at 12 midnight (ET, PT), beginning Monday, January 13.  Programming information for both Reign and Trigun will be announced at a later date.

TechTV is jumping onto the anime bandwagon.  Their new anime block is called "Anime Unleashed."  The following is some programming information...

11/30/02   I hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving.  This next bit of news is from Saiyanz Rage... Starting on January 11, Saturday Toonami will be revised and extended to seven-and-a-half hours!  Wow!  Here's the schedule, from 6:30PM-2AM:

In other schedule news, the Adult Swim schedule has been revised too.  I am actually upset that they moved the Saturday night lineup.  I was able to watch Adult Swim on Saturdays.  Now, I cannot stay up late on weeknights because of school, and I will miss my favorite shows. (Sigh)   Here's the new schedule:

11/27/02   No, I was not dead, missing, or kidnapped...  Sorry that I haven't updated recently.  I have been playing James Bond 007: Nightfire.  I have a rather large Zoids update for you.  I added new Classic Zoids and New Century/Zero images to their galleries.  Also, zoid summaries for the Genosaur and Geno-Breaker have been added to the Zoids Unit section.  There is another new Gif of the Week above too.  I plan on adding a new anime to my site in the future.  I would like to know what you would like to see, so e-mail you thoughts.  Once I narrow it down, you will be able to vote for your choice in the poll.

11/21/02   Reruns, reruns, reruns...  Well I hope you liked what you saw of the Buu saga, because you get to watch it all again for the rest of the year.  I checked Cartoon Network and reruns will air till at least January 3rd.  That's where it stops, so it will probable run a while longer than that.  Never fear, they will air the end of DBZ in the Spring.

This next awesome piece of news is from KyleHebert.com:
" ... on December 6, in New York City, get ready for the Shonen Jump America Launch Party, an event so unbelievably awesome in its scope that there will NEVER be another one like it!!!
So why will it be soooooo cool … the original creator of Dragon Ball Z is coming over from Japan…Akira Toriyama himself!!!!!  Reportedly it has been years since has left Japan.  Can you possibly think of anything more cool ......
... joining in on the fun will be Score Entertainment (the Hummer will be there!), Infogrames – the makers of the ... upcoming DBZ Budokai, Irwin Toys, the makers of the cool line of DBZ action figures, Viz Communications who produces Shonen Jump and Shueisha the parent company for all things DBZ, as well as our friends at FUNimation Studios!

11/20/02   I added 15 new DBZ Images to their gallery.  On another note, FUNimation is just throwing in laughs: the way Vegeta says, "Son of a Namek!" or refering to Goku, "What is he on?" And of course at one point Vegeta seems to be an expert of anatomy.

11/17/02   Hello, hello...  There is a new addition to Cowboy Bebop: Behind the Music.  The lyrics for 9 songs are now up.  Also, I made another new Gif of the Week above from the new DBZ episodes.

11/14/02   It's a short update... I added 15 new DBZ Images to their gallery.  I have a bunch of new screenshots from the recent episodes on the way.  Sorry there is not more.  I am working on a whole bunch of stuff which I hope to get up soon.

11/9/02   There are three new DBZ Wallpapers on page 4.  The last one was made by yours truly.  I made it for a DBZ wallpaper contest.  Also, I made the new Vegito fusion Gif of the Week above.
In the news, ADV Films announced publicly the creation of The Anime Network, the first television channel in North America dedicated to anime.  The channel will run 24 hours a day and will break its content into four categories: Action Zone, Sci-Fi, Comedy, and Horror/Martial Arts.  Previous reports have been that the channel would probably be a pay channel and not basic cable.  However, ADV Films marketing director Ken Wiatrik stated, "I don't know, but I would hope it would be basic cable. The purpose of this channel will be to expose people to programs and genres that they have not already been exposed to in the past."  I'll try to give your more info as is comes in.

11/7/02   I added character descriptions for Chaotic Century & Guardian Force.  They can be found on the Zoids Characters page.  I divided it up between Classic Zoids and New Century/Zero.  Also, there is a new Poll - "How eager are you of watching DBGT?".

11/2/02   It's the weekend, and I have Monday and Tuesday off from school.  I am feeling in a generous mood, so I'm giving you a multiple image gallery update.  There are 9 new DBZ and 9 new Cowboy Bebop images.  Also, I added 12 new pics for Zoids: New Century/Zero and 9 Chaotic Century images.  I divided the Zoids Image Gallery into sections for both series.

11/1/02   Starting on Sunday, January 12th, 2003 Cartoon Network's Adult Swim will air 5 days a week, Sunday through Thursday, from 11pm to 1am.  Sunday's schedule will stay the same.  Monday through Thursday, from midnight to 1am, will be dedicated to the Anime shows Inu Yasha and Cowboy Bebop.  The following is the schedule for Monday-Thursday:

11:00 PM(e/p) - Futurama
11:30 PM - Home Movies
12:00 AM - Inu Yasha
12:30 AM - Cowboy Bebop

10/26/02   Sorry that I haven't updated recently.  I have been busy.  In terms of an update, there is a new addition to Cowboy Bebop: Behind the Music.  The track listings for the Cowboy Bebop Soundtrack CDs are now up.  Also, I changed the Gif of the Week above.  It's another new one made by me.  In the news...  FUNimation will be releasing all the Dragonball Z sagas in individual boxed sets.  There will also be DVD boxed sets released some time in the near future.

10/19/02   It's a long one.  I have a lot to cover.  First my site updates...  I added the Blade Liger and the Shield Liger to the Zoids Units section.  Also, I added two new pages of images to my DBZ Image gallery.  In response to a request on my gallery message board, I added some images of Vegeta and Goten.  They are from the Majin Buu saga, and there are more to come.  I have been having trouble with the gallery.  It will display most of the images, but a few show up as blank titleboxes.  You can still view the enlarged version though.  I am working on fixing the problem.

Now for the news...  Well, Toonami's schedule has changed.  It has definitely caused an upset with the fans.  On the upside and downside, Dragonball / Z will dominate most of the lineup, with new episodes of both series.  Zoids has been removed from the Toonami lineup.  In November, G Gundam will also take a leave of absense.  I am a DB/Z fan, but this is just too much.  CN is going to wear-out the series.  I am also a Zoids fan.  On the plus side, I've checked Toonami's schedule and found out that the episode "Ancient Memories", the first of the last four episodes, will air November 18 at 6:30 am.  At least they finally got around to airing the last four episodes of Guardian Force.  I don't know when Zoids or G Gundam will be back, but I suspect they will return after CN has finished with the new DB/Z episodes.  The following is the new Toonami schedule:

Clarification on the double DB-DBZ:  The 4:00 to 5:00 timeslot is a repeat of the previous day's episodes.  New episodes of Dragonball and DBZ will air from 6:00 to 7:00.  Hope this clears up the confusion.

Starting October 21st:
4:00 PM(e/p) - Dragonball (replaces Batman Beyond)
4:30 PM - Dragonball Z (replaces Classic Zoids)
5:00 PM - G Gundam
5:30 PM - G Gundam
6:00 PM - Dragonball
6:30 PM - Dragonball Z

For November:
4:00 PM - Dragonball
4:30 PM - Dragonball Z
5:00 PM - He-Man (replaces G Gundam)
5:30 PM - Armada (replaces G Gundam)
6:00 PM - Dragonball
6:30 PM - Dragonball Z

10/13/02   From Studio 7B, it's time for Weekend Update with Collin Quinn...  Ok, so I'm not Collin Quinn, but I do have a weekend update for you.  I added 4 new Cowboy Bebop Wallpapers, and they are all made by me.  Check them out.  Also, I am entering a DBZ wallpaper contest, so wish me luck.  In other news, according to Saiyanz Rage, Funimation started recording Dragonball Z Movie 7.  This is the first movie in which Trunks appears.  Kyle Hebert just recorded the narrator for Movie #7, and tried out for Android 13.  Kyle also went on to say that "I'm assuming Funimation has the rights to the future DBZ movies".

10/7/02   According to Kyle Hebert.com, FUNimation will put a preview disk on the DVDs for the first two episodes of their new anime "Fruits Basket".  The disk will contain a Dragonball GT trailer, along with other sneek peeks.  The preview disk goes for $1.99 and can be found at Suncoast.  In other news, in an ad in Japan there was a talk of Dragon Ball coming back.  However, the manga is only going to be re-printed. I hope this clears up any speculation.

10/5/02   There is another new Gif of the Week made by me above.  Also, I added a page called Answering Machines Messages to my Humor Section.  By next Saturday, I should have up a bunch of new wallpapers that I made.

10/1/02   DBZ dominates the US...  Beating out everything from Digimon to the Simpsons and other Prime Time broadcast shows, the season premiere of Dragonball Z was the most watched show on TV last week (responding to the release of Season 6 last September 16th, 2002) for its key demographics.
-- Dragon Ball Z was the #1 program of the week on all cable television with teens 9-14, boys 9-14 and men 12-24.
-- Dragon Ball Z's boys 9-14 ratings (11.5) jumped +70 percent, while men 12-24 ratings (6.6) leaped 120 percent, compared to the same time period last year.
-- The Wednesday, Monday and Tuesday telecasts of Dragon Ball Z ranked as the top three programs in all of television -- broadcast or cable -- for delivery of boys 9-14. (The closest competitor was CBS' Survivor: Thailand.)
The Official DBZ Site is going to be renovated and certain questions about how the new site will look will be determined by fans.  Just go to the official site and take part in their poll that pops up.  You also get to enter your favorite fansite.  I wonder what site you might pick?  (By the way, you are looking great today.)  According to the official site, Jackie Chan received the most votes to play Vegeta.  Jet Li recevied most votes to play Goku.  I won't even try to dignify that with a response.  Now they want to know who do you think should direct the Dragon Ball Z live action movie?

9/28/02   Welcome to my new site design.  I am really pleased with the way it turned out.  Best viewed in full screen, the site appears to be one fused and interlocking piece.  The top image is brand new and flows into the rest of the body.  Also, there is an interlocking tab design for the navigation bar.  The section above is set apart from the rest of the body.  There you can find scrolling news, the Gif of the Week, and Special Feature links.
In my last update I mentioned that I was adding a section called "Cowboy Bebop: Behind the Music".  Well, it is now up.  The link for it can be found in the Special Features listing above and in the navigation bar under Cowboy Bebop.  Right now, I have the introduction and some info on the music's composer up.  The section will eventually cover session title analysis, track listings from the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack CD's, song lyrics, and anything else that can serve to highlight the exceptional music of this outstanding series.

9/25/02   I added 12 new Zoids Images to the gallery.  Sorry, that's it for today.  It's a short update.  Whoever said,"No news is good news," obviously didn't run a website.

9/22/02   I added 3 new DBZ Wallpapers.  Also, there is a new Gif of the Week made by me above.  I am almost done with my new layout design and should have it up by next Sunday.  Along with my new layout there will be a new section called Cowboy Bebop: Behind the Music.  I have it done, but I wanted to wait to put it up.  Sorry, it's a slow news day.

9/18/02   Today is my birthday!!  I am 18 years old.  Despite of my school work, I hope to find some time to enjoy myself.  To celebrate I added 12 new DBZ Images.  I am almost done designing a new layout for my site.  It should be up in a week or two.  Also, I am working on another DBZ music video.  I have to find someone to host all my videos for my site.  On another note, Saiyanz Rage is now opening.

9/15/02   I added info on the Berserk Fury to the Zoids Units section.  Just as a reminder, new episodes of DBZ start Monday at 6:30 on Cartoon Network's Toonami.  Also on Monday, Toonami's "Trapped in Hyperspace" will start.  It will work just like the previous special events.  Once again it will be up to the viewers to go online and play a tie-in game that will decide the outcome of the story.  There will also be a chance to win prizes.

9/11/02   September 11, 2002... a day to reflect and remember.  It has been one year since the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, and the images of that day are forever impressed into our memories.  I took the time to read the entries in my site log for the dates surrounding 9/11/01.  It brought out an eerie feeling, as well as my strong feelings of patriotism, shock, sorrow, and anger at the time.
I felt that I had to make a statement, but now on with my update.  I added 18 new Zoids Images and 9 new Cowboy Bebop Images.  On to the news...  Saiyanz Rage has an answer to the new DBZ episode controversy.  Sadly, its not the answer I was hoping for.  Cartoon Network Reps informed them that only 39 episodes will be airing starting September 16th, at 6:30 PM.  Here's what the Reps had to say...
Cartoon Network's Response: - “If we aired an commercial that states that we will be airing 39 new episodes then we will air 39 episodes.”
FUNimation's Response: - “I checked with the production to verify the number of episodes.  The most recent commercial from Cartoon Network is correct: 39 new episodes.”
As of now, Cartoon Network has not released any information on the remaining 14 episodes.  I do believe Cartoon Network will show the final 14 episodes, maybe in the spring.  This would help ratings a lot since nothing but reruns will be shown for a while.  It's television, and they are in the ratings business.

9/7/02   It's an info packed update, so hold on.  I added 2 new Gundam Wing wallpapers and 2 new Cowboy Bebop wallpapers.  Enjoy.  Below are several announcements that I wanted to post earlier.  Pay particular attention to the last one…
Cartoon Network has announced that new episodes of Dragonball are tentatively scheduled to air on October 21st, 2002.  The new DB episodes will begin with episode #54 "Escape From Pirate Cave".
Mr. Satan, opps I mean Hercule, you better step aside because another name change is on its way.  This season FUNimation is changing Vegeta's and Bulma's daughter’s name from Bra to Bulla.  I think the reason is rather obvious, but I don’t really see how little children apparently can't handle referring to a character by the same name as women's underwear.  If anything, they just might giggle.
New DragonBall Z episodes to start airing September 16, 2002.  They will begin with episode #233 "Evil Lives On".  This good piece of news also comes with a puzzling question.  The recent commercial Toonami says that there will be only 39 new episodes.  However, there are 54 episodes remaining in the series.  If this is the last season, when will the 15 episodes left over be aired?  I have contacted Cartoon Network and FUNimation Reps, and I hope to receive a response.  When I do, I’ll pass it on to you all.  Anyways, as of right now we will be seeing only 39 episodes of the last season.

9/4/02   Yesterday was my first day back to school.  Call me crazy, but I really don't mind getting back in the routine.  It gives me something to do, and I get to see all my friends.  Although, I am really going to miss sleeping in.  On another note, I e-mailed Nintendo about Zoids VS.  They responded saying that at this time there is no official announcement that the game will be released in the U.S.  So it's no go guys.

8/30/02   "U" is for "Update"...  I added info on the Shadowfox to the Zoids Units section.  Speaking of Zoids, I just read that there is a Zoids videogame for the Nintendo Gamecube called Zoids VS.  It looks pretty interesting.  The game was released in Japan this summer.  I don't know if it's coming to the US.  You can check out the official Japanese site Here.  If you want to see some info in English, click Here.  Just as a reminder, InuYasha airs this Saturday at 11:00pm on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.

8/27/02   News, News, Out the Wazoos.... On September 16-20 there will be another Toonami Special event.  It will work just like the previous special events Intruder and Lockdown.  This time Toonami's host Tom and his space ship The Absolution are trapped in hyperspace by a mysterious enemy.  Once again it will be up to the viewers to go online and play a tie-in game that will decide the outcome of the story.  There will also be a chance to win Nintendo prizes.
Dragonball GT will air on the International Channel starting November 10, 2002.  It will be in the same time slot as Dragonball Z, which will end on on November 3.  Right now DragonBall Z, uncut in Japanese, is airing on the International Channel Wednesdays at 9:30pm and Sundays at 10:30pm.
This next bit is from Saiyanz Rage...  According to Anime Invasion Magazine, FUNimation will own the license to first 2 seasons of DBZ at the end of this year.  (These are the episodes done by Saban and Ocean Group. The first 53 episodes of DBZ).  Then they will begin to re-scripting and re-dubing the episodes without any cuts whatsoever.  They plan to be released to bilingual DVD and English VHS.

8/23/02   I added two new Headlines to my Humor section.  They are titled "Transportation News-American West Pilots No Longer Bottled Up" and "Who is Who-Nappa or Jesse Ventura".  Also, there is another new Gif of the Week made by me above, featuring Spike trying to light a cigarette with a flamethrower.
And now for some news...  First off, Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz will air on Cartoon Network on August 30th at 4:00 PM.  This next bit is from Saiyanz Rage.  Infogrames has announced the release of the Gameboy Color version of Dragonball Z: Legendary Super Warriors.  It is scheduled to be out in stores in November 2002, close to the current release date of the PS2 version (Nov. 30, 2002).  The game will be divided in Funimation's saga format, starting from the Saiya-jin Saga and ending in the Majin Buu Saga.  You will battle different enemies (around 19), and eventually end the game when defeating Majin Buu.  For more info on the game, Click Here.  I just have one question...  When are they going to come out with a DBZ game for the Gamecube?

8/19/02   In my last update I reported some news supposedly confirmed by Chris Sabat.  The info may be true, but the post on the message board is apparently not him.  Perhaps, 7-8 episodes per DVD was too much wishful thinking.  I don't know about the DBZ movies.  The rest as far as I know is confirmed.  DBGT will air in 2004, with its video release earlier in late 2003.  It has always been Funimation's official statement that GT would be released soon after DBZ was completed.  Sorry about that.  It won't happen again.

8/17/02   Zoids: The Story is now up.  It provides a brief history and explanation of the complete series.  Above is a new Gif of the Week that I made.  Also, the Toonami In-Flight Movie for Friday, August 23 will be "Transformers Armada".  So check it out!
This next bit of news is from Saiyanz-Rage, and is apparently confirmed by Chris Sabat.  Next year is going to be very promising for Dragon Ball.  Dragonball Z movies 7-9 will be released.  Movie 7 will be out in January 2003.  Dragonball GT will premiere on VHS and DVD in late 2003 and will be seen on Cartoon Network in fall 2004.  Original Dragonball will be released to DVD with 7-8 episodes per disc and 3-4 episodes per VHS tape.  7-8 episodes per DVD is a lot, and I am a bit skeptical about that.

8/15/02   Well, I was going to have an update earlier this week, but I ran into trouble with my gallery.  Therefore, you get a double treat.  I added 12 new Dragonball images as well as 12 new Zoids images.  Also, there is a new Poll about G Gundam.

8/10/02   I added 5 new Cowboy Bebop Wallpapers, so check 'em out.  The last one, Faye Multicolor, was made by yours truly.  In anime news, Cartoon Network recently announced that a new anime is coming to the Adult Swim lineup on Saturday, August 31st at 11pm.  It's Inu Yasha!  Inu Yasha is about a girl named Kagome who gets transported to ancient feudal Japan. Kagome befriends a part demon/part human warrior named Inu Yasha.  Here's some of the voices you'll be hearing.........
Richard Cox (Bit Cloud from ZOIDS) as Inu Yasha
David Kaye (Treize Kushrinada in Gundam Wing) as Sessho-Maru
Monica Stori (Sally Po in Gundam Wing) as Kagome
Saffron Henderson (Ocean's DBZ little Gohan) as Sota
Paul Dobson (Folken in Escaflowne) as Naraku and Myoga
Kirby Morrow (Van in Escaflowne) as Miroku
Brad Swaile (Quatra in Gundam Wing) as Nobunaga

8/6/02   Dragonball fans, you may have heard some buzz going around that DBGT might be airing in September 2002.  According to Sam from Saiyanz-Rage, who contacted Cartoon Network Reps, DBGT is definetly not airing on CN this year.  That is the official word.  Rather, Season 6 of DBZ will start September 16, 2002.
Now for my Mobile Fighter G Gundam Review...  This is my first time seeing G Gundam.  If you watched the first few episodes you would agree that it is a very unique Gundam series, with perhaps the most diverse storyline yet.  There are no wars; rather, it is based on a big tournament.  Each major country has their own Gundam, and these battle each other every four years for control of the Earth.  G Gundam is unique in another way.  The pilots control their Gundams with a bio-mechanical suit or Mobile Trace system.  I am curious to see how Toonami fans react to this different approach to Gundam.

8/5/02   I'm back, I'm back! Update, Update!  Well, it's a short one, so just pretend to be impressed.  I added 4 new Winamp Skins.  YaXAmp is one of my favorites, simple yet it has nice grafics.  Another nice one is Faye Amp.  The colors are vibrant, and the skin is stylish and flashy.  It really captures her character.

8/2/02   Off touring colleges again.  This weekend I'm going to Rochester Institute of Technology.  I am leaving you with an update and a good bit of news.  I added character profiles for Zoids: New Century Zero.  They are arranged by teams.  I am going to cover New Century Zero first and then go back and cover Classic Zoids.
Just as a reminder, G Gundam premires Monday at 5:00 on Cartoon Network's Toonami.  If you like Robotech, then this next bit of news is for you.  This fall "Robotech: Battlecry" will be released for the PS2, X Box, and Gamecube.  The game will be a first person shooter with graphics done to make it appear as 2D drawn animation.  The player pilots a transformable Veritech Fighter while defending the planet from the Zentraedi.  And for the hardcore Robotech fan, a collector's edition will be released containing the game, a CD soundtrack, dog tag, t-shirt, and cards featuring conceptual art.  This limited version sells at $79.99 and can be preordered at Electronic Boutique and Game Stop.  Check out the official site Here.

7/31/02   Time for an update.  I added some more Court Questions, which can be found in my Humor section.  Also, I changed the Gif of the Week above and the splash page music.  In other anime news, Evangelion: Death and Rebirth is making its long-awaited home video debut this week with a 2 disc jam-packed special edition DVD.  It contains a commentary featuring the voice of Rei Ayanami, Amanda Wynn-Lee, and anime industry actor/director Taliesin Jaffe, and tons more.  You can most likely find it a Best Buy or Media Play.

7/26/02   Zoids fans, you are in for a treat.  Zoids: Chaotic Century will air Monday at 4:30pm on Cartoon Network's Toonami.  You may have noticed it running earlier at 6:30am.  Now for an update.  I added two pages of pics to my DBZ Image Gallery.  I'll be touring Penn State this weekend and then will be visiting D.C., so see you Monday.

7/24/02   Bruce Faulconer Productions has released their newest CD, The Best of DBZ Volume III.  At their site you can order the CD.   It also has a tracklist and some samples.  On a note, some track titles mention "Doubler" in the place of "Dabura".  Visit the site Here.

7/20/02   Welcome to another addition of Weekend Update here at Blast From The Burgh.  I am your neighborhood friendly webmaster.  This just in... the Big Apple Anime Fest this year in New York will be debuting the English dub version of "Cowboy Bebop: The Movie."  If you're in New York, here's the info for the premiere screening: August 30th, 8:00pm at Loews State Theater(Virgin Megastore)in New York City's Times Square.  The film is scheduled for official release by TriStar Pictures in early 2003.  And now for some site news... There is a new page under Humor called Pickup Lines, so check it out and enjoy!

7/18/02   This Saturday the 20th there will be an all-out Cowboy Bebop Marathon on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.  Cowboy Bebop is most noted for its music, but believe me, it's all good.  For those who haven't seen the series yet, this would be a good chance to catch some of the action.  See you Space Cowboys...

7/15/02   Hi all!  I am back from vacation.  I changed the Gif of the Week and the splash page music.  In addition, I added episode images for Gundam Wing's Endless Waltz.  I also added a new link to my Links page.  It is for a site called Darwin Awards.  The site commemorates those who improve our gene pool by removing themselves from it in really stupid ways.  If you haven't checked out Castor Troy's music video yet, the link for it can be found in the July 4 entry.

7/6/02   See Ya!  I'm going on vacation to the beach for a week, but before I go I'd like to leave you with an update.  I added a page to the Zoids Unit section on the Liger Zero and its transformations.  Also, I am asking you to vote for my site.  Since I'll be gone, I don't want to fall behind in the rankings.  Vote by clicking on the link in the left navigation bar and then click enter/yes on each window.  Thank you and Enjoy!
And now for a bit of news...  For all you Yu Yu Hakusho fans, Cartoon Network will be showing a special marathon on Adult Swim for the next few weeks.  If you've missed out so far, now is the time to catch up.  The official site has the complete schedule Here.  And for you Gundam fans, G Gundam will air on August 5th at 5:30PM on Toonami, so get ready!

7/4/02   It's the Fourth of July!  I have a special treat for you.  It is a link to an absolutely awesome music video by Castor Troy (of Ginga Giri Giri).   Entitled "Shellshock", it features footage from Gundam 8th MS Team with a song from the Finnish metal band, Nightwish.  The song is hard and aggressive and yet hauntingly beautiful.  It fits perfectly.  It deservedly picked up an A-Kon award.  You gotta see this one, guys.  Click HERE.

6/28/02   There is a new page of pics in my Cowboy Bebop Image Gallery, so check them out.  As always, I changed the Gif of the Week and the splash page music.  I made the Zoids gif animation above.  In DBZ news, you can check out pics for the new action figures at DragonballToys.com.  Also, the Golden Haired Majin Vegeta toy has been released in certain areas.  Please take the time to vote for my site.  Thanks and Enjoy!

6/24/02   I added an air hockey game to the Games section and fixed the link for the DBZ Tournament game.  And in the news…  Legacy of Goku was the #1 title for Game Boy Advance in May 2002.  It was also #2 among the Top 100 Selling Video Games for May.  When combined with the sales of Infogrames’ DragonBall Z: Collectible Card Game, the DragonBall Z franchise earned Infogrames the #1 rank among all GBA publishers for May 2002.

6/20/02   I made some minor changes to my site layout and added a new background.  There are two new sections: Dragonball and Zoids.  Each of their image gallerys have a few pics. There are tons more to come.  The other Zoid pages aren't up yet but will be part of future updates.  Also, I subscribed to some new topsite rankings.  I am against forced voting, but I hope you take the time to vote for my site.  Just click on the "Vote For My Site" link in the left navigation bar, allow the windows to open, and click yes/enter on each.  Thanks, I appreciate it.

6/14/02   I'm Back!  For those who actual visit my site, you may have noticed that I haven't updated in a while.  Well, here is the story.  When I came back from Kansas City, I turned on my computer, and it read that a system failure was imminent.  After crying out "Oh Sh!t", I quickly backing up all my mp3s, videos, images, and site resourses on 6 CD-RWs.  Shortly after my hard drive was pronounced dead.  Once I bought a new hard drive, I installed it and uploaded the operating system and all my stuff.  And here I am today.
Now for my site update.  Gundam Wing Images for Episodes 25 to 34 are now up.  As always, I changed the Gif of the Week above and the entrance music.  In addition, I will have a Zoids image gallery up soon.  I have amassed 180 images!  They will be added in clusters during future updates.  At the same time I will be upgrading my site layout and getting rid of this boring, black background.

6/01/02   I going to Kansas City for the weekend.  I am typing this while getting ready to leave for my plane, so it will be short.  I changed the Gif of the Week above and the entrance page music.  Also, I added some new DBZ images on page 19 and 20 of the gallery.

5/26/02   I added information for all 3 of Wufei's Gundams: Shenlong, Altron, and Nataku.  They can be found in the Gundam Wing Mobile Suit section.  Mobile Suit Gundam will air on Saturday, June 8 at 12:30 (that really makes it Sunday).  Pilot Candidate will move to 1:30.  Enjoy your Memorial Day Weekend!

5/19/02   Gundam Wing images for Episodes 35 to 42 are back up.  According to the latest Neilson Ratings, Yu Yu Hakusho was the top-performing series, scoring a 0.6 adults 18-34 rating and delivering 299,000 viewers.  Cowboy Bebop and Pilot Candidate each earned a 0.5 adults 18-34 rating.  On Saturday, May 11th, Adult Swim Action ratings for adults grew by 300%, while delivery grew by 258%.  Very impressive!  Thanks yet again to KyleHebert.com for this news.  On another note, go see Star Wars Episode II if you haven't.  I haven't seen it yet, but I hear it's awesome. See you later.

5/11/02   Hey everyone!  Weekend update time.  I added some new pics to my DBZ image gallery.  And in other news, A-kon's list of appearances grows even more.  Scheduled at this year's gathering are: Sean Schemmel (Goku), Scott McNeil (Ocean Group's Piccolo and Duo Maxwell), Stephanie Nadolny (chibi Gohan and Goku), and Kyle Herbert with more to be announced soon.  Bruce Faulconer will be answering questions in a panel discussion.  Thanks to KyleHebert.com for this info.

5/8/02   Just some news.  The Official Site has the new TV schedule up for Dragon Ball Z.  The series restarts today.  It also has a poll where you can request what actors you think should play Goku in the live action DBZ Movie.  I just wanted to add that I love it when Vegeta says "What's the problem punk, slow connection" when you click on his icon.

5/4/02   I finally added the info for the DBZ story origin.  To tell you the truth, I forgot all about it.  You know the drill. Weekend update = new Gif of the Week + new entrance page music.  I just finished making a Zoids music video set to By Myself.  I have to find someplace where can put my videos so you can download them.  I don't have the space.  Speaking of Zoids, I am still looking for feedback in my poll on whether I should add a Zoids image gallery.

4/27/02   Hi all!  It's time for my weekend update.  Gundam Wing Images for Episodes 25 to 34 are now up.  Also, I changed the Gif of the Week above and the entrance music.  I plan on adding a Zoids image gallery.  I already have 170 pics waiting.  Give me your thoughts in my new poll.

4/20/02   The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four Americans is suffering from some form of mental illness.  Think of your three best friends.  If they are okay, then it's you!  Well, now for an update.  Cowboy Bebop Wallpapers are now up.  There are only a few now, but more will be added in future updates.  Also, I changed the entrance page music and the Gif of the Week above.  In other news, Infogrames reports that the Dragonball Z game for Game Boy Advance, "The Legacy of Goku," will be released on May 14!

4/13/02   The weekend is finally here!  Man, I am tired.  I had to act as the defense attorney in a case on Vietnam in my US History class.  Oh well, it's time for my update.  There is a new Gif of the Week above, and I changed the entrance page music as always.  Also, Gundam Wing images for Episodes 17-24 are back up.

4/6/02   Run Gohan, run for your life!  I changed the Gif of the Week above and added new entrance page music.  Also, there is a new page of images in the DBZ image gallery, so check them out.  Please take the time to vote for my site. Enjoy!

4/2/02   This just in...There are 4 new DBZ Wallpapers on page 3.  Sorry, that's all you get for today.  I am busy mix'n up some music.

3/30/02   I am on spring break now.  Gundam Wing images for Episodes 9-16 are back up.  Also, there is a new Gif of the Week above and new entrance page music.  Funimation has posted their schedule for all of their releases through the end of the year.  It can be view Here.  Remember that these dates can change at any time.  In other news, a doughnut trail leads the police to the thieves of a Krispy Kreme truck.  The two people left a 15-mile-long- trail of doughnuts after they took the truck from a parking lot and fled.  The thieves told the police they had been smoking crack cocaine for several hours before the incident.

3/23/02   What's that you say?  It's time for an update?  Well, what do you know, you're right. There is a new Gif of the Week above.  I have a bunch of new ones in reserve for future updates.  I also added new entrance page music.  In addition, the Cowboy Bebop Character Profiles are now up.  Please take the time and vote for my site by clicking the link in the left navigation bar.  Thanks and Enjoy!

3/21/02   The Cowboy Bebop Image Gallery is now up and has a few pics.  In other news, from the official DBZ site:  Monday, March 25, Chris Sabat, the voice of Dragon Ball Z’s Vegeta and Piccolo and Yu Yu Hakusho’s Kuwabara, will be chatting with fans in the Official FUNimation Chat World.  Sabat is also the voice director for Dragon Ball Z and Blue Gender.  The chat will kick off at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time and 4:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.  This is your chance to talk live with one today’s hottest voice actors.  Make sure you log on as Chris answers your questions.

3/16/02   I changed the Gif of the Week above and added new entrance music.  In other news, Planet Gamecube has posted their review of the upcoming Legacy of Goku game for the Game Boy Advance. Check it out Here.  As I reported before, the heroes of your favorite series are heading to the big screen.  FUNimation Vice President and Producer Daniel Cocanougher had this to say:    “FUNimation is very excited to be working with FOX in their production of a live-action Dragon Ball Z Feature Film.  FOX plans to place this movie on a fast-track production schedule, and may have a movie released as early as Fall 2003 or Summer 2004.  FOX is an excellent movie studio, producing such huge hits as X-Men and Star Wars, among many others.  They feel that this project will not end with one movie, but will become a major, multi-picture franchise like Star Wars.  Clearly, this is a remarkable upward turning point for the Dragon Ball Z property.  It will also be very interesting for all Dragon Ball Z fans to try to predict the names of the stars, the director and producers, and the storyline that will be used.  FUNimation plans for its web site to be the focal point of information on the production of the movie and all the fan events leading up to it.  We would like to thank all the Dragon Ball Z fans worldwide for creating the excitement that allows such a major announcement as this-the new, completely original, live-action movie: Dragon Ball Z.”

3/12/02   Sorry that I haven't upated recently.  I have been busy with school work.  There is a new the Gif of the Week above and new entrance music.  Also, Gundam Wing images for Episodes 1-8 are back up.  The rest will be added in future updates.  In other news, according to Hollywood Reporter, 20th Century Fox has acquired the feature film rights to DragonBall for studio division Fox 2000 to develop into a live-action franchise.

3/6/02   What do you think of my new layout?  You can give me your feedback by emailing me or answering my poll.  I was watching TV last Saturday night and ran across Adult Swim.  I had no idea that they ran it on Saturday nights.  It runs from 11pm to 2am.  I don't know how long they have been doing it, but I assume it started just recently.  It has some new shows. The schedule, in order, is Yu Yu Hakusho, Cowboy Bebop, Pilot Candidate, Gundam 0083, Outlaw Star, and finally Tenchi Muyo.  You'll have to check out Gundam 0083.

3/3/02   Welcome to my new layout!  I have a new, easier-to-remember url, so update your favorites link.  I wrote all the html code for this layout.  My old version was made using Trellix webpage creator.  I began to be limited by it and decided to design my own.  I had to teach myself html.  Also, I redesigned the top image and made title banners for each section.  There is a new section on Cowboy Bebop too, but it is under construction.  DBZ Story Origin and Gundam Wing Episode Images are also under construction.  These sections will be completed in future updates.  Planet Namek may be gone, but I'm going strong.  Please take the time to vote for my site.  Enjoy!
2/23/02   I added a new article to Headlines in the Humor section.  It's called The Importance of the Horse's Ass.  Read, learn, and then laugh at the irony.  There also is a new Gif of the Week above and entrance music.
After many rumors circulating recently, it has now become official, Planet Namek has closed down.  It seems that most of the staff has lost complete interest in DBZ and also was getting hit hard with server costs and decided to just let the site go.  The staff of Namek are posting their goodbye speeches and the reasoning for the closure.  This site was THE site among all DBZ sites on the net and it's a big blow to the web to see it go.  I wish these guys good luck in the future and their contributions to the DBZ Community will be missed.  Fare well.

2/15/02   Hey all!  As with every weekend update, the Gif of the Week above and the entrance music have been changed.  Just thought I should let you know that my new layout is about 50% complete.  I haven't been able to work on it for a while though.

2/09/02   There are some new DBZ images on pages 13 and 14.   Also, I changed the entrance music and the Gif of the Week above.  Don't forget that the new episodes of Dragonball start on Monday.

2/05/02   According to Cartoon Network's own TV schedule page, Toonami will be starting to show the Red Ribbon saga of Dragon Ball on February 11th.

2/02/02   Welcome one and all to the greatest spectacle on earth.  Well, at least humor me.  I can dream, can't  I?  The Gif of the Week above and the entrance music have been changed.  Also, I added a new section below Winamp called Multimedia.  There you can find a page called "Music by DJ Zookie".  My Friend is a DJ, and with his permission I have added a link to some of his music.  Enjoy.

1/26/02   Hi all!  Guess what time it is.  (And don't guess the time on the clock.)  Well, if you guessed that it's time for my weekend update, then you are correct.  I changed the Gif of the Week above and the music on my entrance page.
I read the following at Planet Namek about the reprinting of Dragonball manga in Japan:

Vegetto707X sent this bit in...
A new Magazine starting up in Japan called "Manga On-ga!" will be reprinting the entire run of Dragonball soon. The new Magazine is dedicated to the art of Manga and the history of some classics. Along with Dragonball they'll be reprinting other JUMP series such as Hokuto no Ken and Slam Dunk. Each of these issues (Bi-Weekly) will feature new covers by various artists for their respective works, along with some classics. This is news for a few reasons, including new Toriyama Dragonball art, restored full color and 4-color pages, and new fan interest (Which has also led satelite channel "Animaxi" to rerun Dragonball/Z in Japan).
To make things even more interesting, Dragonball's liscensing rights are back out on the table. The new Magazine should be available in import book shops like Kinokuniya by march. The rest of the information is in most Japanese trade papers and was on Tokyo FNC last week.

1/19/02    Bid for Power was released yesterday!  The game was originally a DBZ game.  However, they ran into copyright laws with Funimation.  The game was altered, but the awesome effects are better than ever.
Jon Allen of Planet Namek recently conducted an interview with Bruce Faulconer, the man behind the music of the recent episodes of DBZ.  It is well worth a read.   Read it here.
There is a new Gif of the Week above, and I changed the entrance music.

1/14/02   According to Bid For Power's  website, you can expect the game to be released sometime in January.  Faulconer Productions, creator of the music from the recent episodes of DBZ, has new samples from their Best of DBZ Volume II.  Check out their site here.

1/12/02   This just in...It's time for my weekend update.  There is a new page of images in the DBZ image gallery.  Also, I changed the Gif of the Week  above and the entrance music.  Enjoy!

1/5/02     Happy New Year!  Planet Namek put it best- "Well...2000 was a special year because ALL THEM NUMBERS CHANGED AT ONCE.  So, most people thought it was the new millennium.  2001 was a special year because it actually WAS the new millennium.  And what makes 2002 special?  It's the same forwards and backwards!  SIMPLY AMAZING."
My update is a little late.  I was having computer trouble.  There is a new Gif of the Week above and new entrance music.  I just thought I should let you know that I'm working on a new layout.  With all my school work, progress may be slow.  I am still going to be updating this page during the process.

12/29/01  Rumor has it that Capcom, maker of the popular Street Fighter series, is working on a 3D Dragonball Z game similar to their Gundam arcade game.  However, Infogames has the license to make these DBZ videogames.  Before we get any crazy ideas, remember this word- Rumor.

12/27/01  Time for a power up!  I added a new page of DBZ information.  It is called Little Known Facts.  Also, there is a new Gif of the Week above and a new entrance tune.  Enjoy.

12/22/01  Oh my gosh, it's snowing on my webpage.  That must mean it's time for my Christmas update, or should I say Holiday Season update to be politically correct.  Here's a good piece of news.  The #1 search on Lycos for 2001 was Dragonball.  It finally hit #1 on the Lycos 50 in January and then held that spot for 25 out of the 52 weeks of the year.  Dragonball received almost twice as many searches as #2 spot Britney Spears.

12/17/01  Britney Spears, animal activist?  She's joined forces with the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and will strip off her clothes to pose for a poster in support of the "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign, reports The New York Post's PageSix.com.  Britney's poster should be available in time for Christmas.

12/15/01   Time for my weekend update.  There is a new Gif of the Week above and new entrance music.  Don't forget about my affiliation.  If you're interested, just click on the link in my left nav bar.  Also, I added some new pics in my Gundam Wing Image Gallery.  Enjoy!

12/13/01   I just wanted you to know that I'm still alive.  I haven't updated since last weekend.  This is unusual for me.  I have been very busy with school work.  For your information, there is an exclusive interview at PlanetNamek.com with the company that is developing the DBZ video game, The Legacy of Goku.  The news entry is dated Monday, 12/10/2001 @ 9:26 PM PST.

12/8/01   I changed the Gif of the Week above and the entrance music.  There is a new addition in my GW Mobile Suit section.  It is the EW Tallgeese III.  Also, I am opening my site up to affiliation.  If you're interested, just click on the link to the left to access my affiliation info.

12/1/01   Ouch, that's gota hurt!  I'm seeing stars!  New week equals new Gif Animation above and brand new entrance music.  And that's not all...in this exclusive offer you also get a new section in humor.  It's called "Things Vegeta Would Never Say".  The following are the next two Toonami In-Flight Movies:  Dec 7 @6PM - Dead Zone (What? Again?!)  and  Dec 14 @5:30PM - Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz.

11/25/01   There is a new Gif of the Week above.  It was made by yours truly.  I also changed the entrance music again.  I decided write a site report assessing the status of my website.  You can Read It Here.

11/22/01   Happy Thanksgiving!  If you thought Funimation's dub of DBZ was bad, wait until you read the following two articles about Ocean Group:  Article 1   Article 2.  You'll get a laugh out of them.

11/17/01   Time for a power up!  There are some new DBZ images on page 12 of the gallery.  I have changed the entrance page music and the Gif of the Week above.  Also, don't forget about my new poll, forum, and flash intro.  The flash intro plays as it loads, so once it's done just rewind and play.  I encourage you to vote for my site.  I would hate to have to put up a voting gateway to enter.  I am opposed to it.

11/16/01  I got some news, and probably to your delight it is not about the Penguins.  Looks like this Friday on Toonami's Midnight Run, Cartoon Network is once again airing all four Daft Punk Videos and three Gorillaz videos, plus some stuff of their own.  Also, in site news, I added a few new pics from the new version of Bid for Power and I changed the poll.

11/15/01  Holy Hat Trick Batman-  Kovalev did it again!  In his second game back last night, he scored another hat trick.  He did it on Tuesday too.  That's 6 goals in 2 games!  The Penguins were being killed by the Islanders until the 3rd.  The game ended in a tie, score 3-3.  General Manager Craig Patrick, broadcaster Mike Lange, and locker room attendant A.T. Caggiano were inducted into the Pittsburgh Penguins’ Hall of Fame during a ceremony before last night's game.

11/14/01   DBZ is starting over from the beginning of season 5 today.  If you new to my page, you are probably unaware that I sometimes post a commentary after  Penguin games, especially in the playoffs.  My site is primarily an anime site, but I do include some stuff on Pittsburgh.  Hence my site's name.  The following is my Penguin game review:
Last night's hockey game was probably the Penguin's most dominating so far this season.  They beat the New Jersey Devils 5 to 1.  The Devils scored first on a power play with a goal by Arnott.  After that it was all Penguins.  Kovalev, appearing in his first game since Oct. 14, scored a hat trick.  It's the 7th of his career.  Also, Morozov scored two goals.  He has 10 goals and 21 points in 20 games against New Jersey in his career.  Not bad for a guy who has only 43 goals in his entire NHL career.  Lemieux had 2 assists.  The Penguins pulled out a win despite putting just 18 shots on net.  This was goaltender Aubin’s first win of the year.  The Penguins play tonight at 7:30 against the NY Islanders, who lead the conference with 11 wins.

11/12/01   I now have a flash intro!  Hooray!  You can open it on my entrance page by clicking on the text in the image.  This is my first time using flash.  On your first viewing, it will play as it loads.  Once done, can rewind it and play it in its entirety.

11/10/01   I fixed the Links section.  There were some broken links, and I added a few new ones.  There is a new Gif of the Week and entrance music.  I plan on having a flash intro up soon.  Enjoy!

11/6/01     I decided to add some new DBZ information.  It is on King Kamehameha - The Origin of Kamehameha Attack.  Read up.  Also, there is a change in the Toonami line-up.  Zoids is now on at 5 and replaced 08th MS Team.  Gundam 0080 is on the Midnight Run too.

11/3/01     "Do not touch anything unnecessarily. Beware of pretty girls in dance halls and parks who may be spies, as well as bicycles, revolvers, uniforms, arms, dead horses, and men lying on roads -- they are not there accidentally."    - from Soviet infantry manual issued in the 1930's.
Hello!  My site has been honored and named "site of the month" at  The Unforgiven Saiyan.  Hooray!  There is new Gif of the Week and entrance music.  Also, I changed my entrance page a little.  The enter button and my topsite link are in the picture now, so just click on the words.

10/31/01   Happy Halloween!!  Dead Zone will air tonight at 12.  The amount of times this movie has been on is truly frightening.  In terms of an update, I added a few new pics from the new version of Bid for Power.   Now some other news....
Cartoon Network is finally at the Majin Vegeta episodes, and they are a must see.  The voices actual have genuine emotion.  The dialogue is a lot more direct and confrontational too.  Vegeta dishes out some really strong lines, such as "Is it really slavery when you get what you want?" and "He has stolen my honor...and his debts...must be paid!!"  Vegeta's Saiyan pride is portrayed as just that, intense pride, rather than one-dimensional arrogance.  You can't miss these episodes!

10/29/01   There is a new Gif of the Week above and a new entrance tune.  I am still waiting for results from my poll on the right before I add anything new.  What do you want to see?  Have fun and explore my site!

10/25/01   If you haven't seen the video called "Bin Laden: Nowhere To Run", then now is you chance.  It features George Bush on the bongos and Colin Powell singing "Dayo".  See it here!  Why can't I make cool stuff like this?  It's absolutely hilarious!

10/23/01   Oh my gosh, pigs are flying!  Toonami finally changed their DBZ opening.  I would appreciate it if you would vote for my site on the DB 100.  Just double-click on their banner scrolling at the right and then enter the site for the vote to count. Thanks for your support.

10/22/01   Hey all!  I changed the poll to the right.  I would really like your feedback.  What new things would you like to see on my site?  Pick one of the options in the poll or add your own idea.  Thanks.  Don't forget about my forum.  You can post a topic for discussion or respond to someone else's.

10/20/01  Sorry that I haven't updated in a while.  I had a lot of school work to do.  There are 3 new JigSaw Puzzles.  Once opened, you can change the number and shapes of the pieces.  Also, I changed the Gif of the Week and entrance music.  The following is a bit of interesting but funny news from Planet Namek :
For the week of September 24th through September 30th Dragon Ball Z was the number one show for four of five weekdays with ratings varying between 2.1 and 2.7.
The only weekday TV show with more viewers was TNN's Monday night WWF Entertainment with ratings of 3.4 and 3.7 (it occupies two timeslots).  The only other show on Cable TV that attracted more viewers than Dragon Ball Z was ESPN's NFL coverage on Sunday.  NFL Regular season garnered a rating of 5.5, while the NFL prime time garnered a rating of 3.7.
I find it funny that the WWF beats out DBZ...apparently the average redneck prefers to watch real men grope each other rather than animated ones.  To those who say "I watch the WWF and I'm not a redneck," read the above a second time.  I said rednecks watch the WWF, not that all WWF fans are rednecks.  And if you don't believe that the majority of WWF fans live in a trailer park, wait until the next tornado season and watch Vince's viewership get cut in half. This has been Mr.E's daily flame-bait. You may direct your flames to that brick wall over there.

10/13/01   Bibidi, Babidi, Buu!  Thought it was funny once I realized it (all you DBZ fans know what I'm talking about).  There are 21 new DBZ images.  This takes their total up to 168.  Also, there is a new Gif of the Week above and new entrance music.

10/8/01     There are some new DBZ wallpapers.  Just click on the image to see the full sized version.  There is also a new poll.  Ways To Be Annoying:  only type in lowercase dont use any punctuation either - Buy a large quantity of orange traffic cones and reroute whole streets. - Repeat the following conversation a dozen times: "Do you hear that?" "What?" "Never mind, it's gone now." - Stand over someone's shoulder, mumbling, as they read. - Sit in your front yard pointing a hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow down. - Go on and on in your update about how to be annoying.

10/6/01    I have added 5 new winamp skins.  They include Art of Flight and Light Amp.  Art of Flight has some awesome effects and action buttons.  Light Amp is incredibly detailed. Download them in my skins section by clicking on the title. There is also a new Gif of the Week created by me and  new entrance music.  Don't forget to vote for my site by clicking on the link in the left nav bar.  Also, you can enter your site into my topsite rankings.

10/1/01    There are many plot holes in DBZ. Everyone probably has heard about the scene in the Cell Games when SSJ2 Gohan kills 8 Cell Jr's even though only 7 were made. Here is undesputable evidence that is true.  If you haven't yet seen the DBZ "Particle Man" music video, do yourself a favor and go here immediately to download it.  It's really funny stuff.

9/29/01    There is a new winamp visualization collection made by me.  It's called Platinum Series and it includes 2 unlisted special editions dedicated to Sept 11.  I also have joined 2 more topsite lists, so remember to vote for my site.  In addition, I have created my own topsite list.  You can join by entering from the link in the left nav bar.  Also, there is a new Gif of the Week and entrance music.

9/24/01    I have redone the winamp visualization page.  You can now conveniently download each collection from my site.  You don't have to download from Freedrive.  I should have a whole new collection up for my next update. Enjoy.

9/22/01    Look at them go!  There is a new Gif of the Week.  Also, I have retitled the Multimedia section.  It is now called Interaction.  In this section there is a new feature- a forum and discussion board.  Feel free to post a topic or respond to someone else's.  In other news, Cowboy Bebop is coming back tomorrow night at it's regular time.

9/18/01    Today is my birthday!!  I am 17 years old.  Despite of the recent tragedy and studying (which I always do the night before) for an AP US History test, I hope to find some time to enjoy myself.   Lets celebrate again with a big update.  There are some new GW Gallery images and a bunch of new DBZ pics.
According to Gundam.com, Mobile Suit Gundam has been pulled from the air for the foreseeable future as a result of the tragedy that occurred.  AOL/Time Warner has decided that due to the nature of this show and the atrocities of war that it depicts, now is not the right time to be airing the program.
Also, Cowboy Bebop was canceled.  What a load of crap.  Should we purge the media of anything violence-related because of actual events?  NBC has been airing news about it for days.  Why can't we enjoy a fictional show?  However, I'm not sure if this is the reason that Bebop was canceled.  It just seems logical.
I am really getting sick of this.  We can't sacrifice freedom to protect against something that could happen.  We are removing plastic knives in airport restaurants because a terrorist could use it to threaten a person.  Come on people, that is ridiculous.  It would be much more effective to hire better workers and air marshals.  Obviously, you can't put an air marshal on every plane, but the fact that one could be there is a big deterrence.  This is the last time I spend my updates preaching.  This is mainly an anime site.  I'll stick to that.  You are all entitled to your own opinions.

9/15/01   Lets celebrate freedom and the United States with a tribute, more precisely, a huge update!  There are two new Headline articles in the humor section:  New McDonalds Drive Thru and New Parking Lot.  Also, there are some new DBZ wallpapers.  I fixed the links on some of the previous ones.  There are 26 in all!  I also added a new section in multimedia called Jigsaw Puzzles.
It seems that Mobile Suit Gundam has been taken off the air.  I don't know if this is only temporary.  Dragonball takes its place.  Now all two hours of Toonami is DB and DBZ.
The flag still stands for freedom, and they can't take that away.  I am proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free.  There is no doubt that I love this land.  God Bless The USA.

9/14/01    Amazon.com has set up a  donation box  for the American Red Cross to help support the relief effort.  You can donate to help save a life.  At the time of this update,  $3,631,128.40 have been donated.  Please, if you feel like making a difference, contribute to this fund.  I know that most of you all are underage, so discuss it with your parents.  If you are in the New York or Pentagon areas, please donate blood.   All we can do now is to keep checking the news and hope.  My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of people that were killed.

9/12/01  A Day That Will Live In Infamy.  Both New York City's World Trade Center and the Pentagon were targets of terrorists yesterday, Tuesday September 11, 2001.  Two commercial airliners, hijacked by terrorists, crashed into each of the Twin Towers.  Both towers later collapsed, killing thousands.  You can view live footage of the disaster and interviews  here .   "You can level the foundations of our buildings, but you cannot break the foundation of America.  You can bend our strongest steel, but you cannot dent the steel of American resolution."  Our actions must be strong and firm.  The sleeping dragon has been awakened once again.  God Bless America!

9/10/01   The new season of DBZ starts today at 6:00!!!  Let's celebrate this great occasion with 2 new pages of DBZ images.

9/8/01    There is a whole slew of new Bid For Power pictures.  They include several new images from the DBZ version and some from the new version.  Due to copyright laws, the DBZ version will not be produced.  It's a shame.  The game looked awesome.  My images are all you'll ever see.  However, a new similar version is in development (basically just changing the characters and names).  Also, there is a new entrance tune and Gif of the Week.

9/4/01    The rules have changed at Cartoon Network.  The theory that cartoons are just for kids has just come crashing down thanks to a mantis bandleader, a superhero-turned lawyer, an underwater research team, and a crew of bounty hunters.  After viewing Adult Swim, I have one word to say- funny, a little strange, and definitely adult oriented.  Well, ok, that's 8 words.  Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law looks pretty funny.  And too my surprise, Cowboy Bebop is (almost) uncensored!  Pool Rules:  Sexual innuendo is permitted.  Violence and profanity are allowed.  Still no diving in the shallow end though.  Go for a swim every Sunday and Thursday night at 10 PM ET/PT.

9/2/01    Adult Swim premieres tonight at 10 PM.  Gundam Wing images for episode 6 are now up.  Also, there is a new entrance tune and Gif of the Week.   I am busy with school and will probably not be able to update daily.  The new series of DBZ airs September 10th.

8/28/01    Hold on, it's a long one.  Cartoon Network's Special Edition will air at midnight on August 31.  It will feature all-animated music videos in a hour-long special.  You'll be seeing four videos straight from the recent Toonami soundtrack Deep Space Bass, including Mad Rhetoric and Dreams.  But that's just the beginning!  The special will also have the world premiere of Daft Punk animated video, "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger."  Three other of their videos will also air.  The Gorillaz will have three videos (Clint Eastwood, 19-2000, and Tomorrow Comes Today) airing on the special.  TMR Special Edition is only scheduled for a one-time airing, so don't miss it!
Adult Swim premieres on September 2 at 10 PM with an adult-oriented lineup.  While half of the lineup (Home Movies, The Brak Show, and Space Ghost Coast To Coast) will be TV-PG, the remaining shows (some 15-minute shows plus an hour of Cowboy Bebop) will be TV-14, the highest rating ever seen on Cartoon Network.  I'm curious on how this series will be handled.  The new series of DBZ airs September 10th.

8/27/01    GW episode 7 is now up.

8/25/01    I decided to return the news section to normal.  However, the autoscroll will be used in the right section.  Faulconer Productions, creator of the music from the recent episodes of DBZ, has redesigned their site and added some MP3 samples from their two new DBZ cd albums.

8/24/01    Some new DBZ images are now up.  Also, I am experimenting with this automatic scrolling text.  Should I keep it?  E-mail me your opinion at  ATD010@cs.com .

8/23/01   There is a new section in humor called "Play On Words".

8/22/01    GW episodes 9 and 8 are up.  In terms of site material, here are the facts.  There are 435 GW episode images, 16 GW wallpapers, and 16 gallery pics.  Also, there are 23 DBZ wallpapers and 100 DBZ images.  And this is just image media!

8/21/01    Dragon Ball aired yesterday.  The voice of young Goku is played by Gohan.  How predictable.  I thought it was pretty good and kept relatively uncut.  There is a new GIF of the Week above, and it was made by yours truely.    GW episodes 10 and 11 have been added.

8/20/01    There are 2 new GW wallpapers.  Also, the original Dragon Ball starts today at 5:30 on Toonami.  The new season of DragonBall Z starts Sept. 10th.   There is a new entrance tune too.

8/19/01     GW images for episodes 14 and 13 are up.

8/18/01    There is a new editon to the Headlines humor section called TV Today.  Don't forget to read the news for the 17th and 16th below.  They contain some recent update news, and plus, the opening to the 16th is funny.

8/17/01    I just subscribed to a new toplist.  You can vote for my site by clicking on the banners or just simply click on the vote link in my left nav bar.  You'll have to click enter/ yes on some.  I also made my own webring.  You can access it from my entrance page.  Anyone is free to join, and signing up is no problem.  I have added some more DBZ images too.

8/16/01    "If you don't like your job, you don't strike.  You just go in everyday and do it really half bad.  That's the American way."  My GW image gallery is now up.  You thought I already had one? I'm talking about a gallery, not episode images.  Since I got my skin on Winamp's site, I redid the skin section.  You can now download by just clicking on the title.  Also, there are 6 new awesome skins!

8/15/01    Images for GW episodes 15 and 16 have been added.  Currently there are 329 episode pics!  Also, I will have a new GW image gallery up tomorrow.  The music is One Step Closer.

8/14/01    GW images for episodes 17 and 18 have been added.

8/13/01    The next addition in my GW Mecha section is Wing Zero.

8/12/01   Hi all!  I am finally back from 17 days of fun in the sun.  And yes, that is the theme to Gilligan's Island.  I came back to some surprising news.  Bid For Power is close to being released (about a months time).  However, they will be removing the DBZ characters.  Bid For Power has received a cease and desist order from Funimation.  Check out the official report here.  I have also missed out on the new Gundam episodes.  In site news, I have added some new DBZ pics.

7/26/01   See Ya!  I'm going on vacation to the beach for two weeks, but before I go I'd like to leave you with a lot of new stuff to entertain yourself with.  It's a monster update.  Don't see it all at once, but come back and do something new daily.  There is a new poll, a new gif animation above, some more DBZ pics, two new Headlines, and GW episodes 19 to 22.  Also, I am imploring you to vote often.  Since I'll be gone, I don't want to fall behind in the rankings.  Vote by clicking on the link in the left nav bar and then click enter or yes.  You know the drill.  I should be back August 11th.  Thank you and Enjoy!

7/25/01    Today I am starting a new section in humor called Headlines.  The segment contains funny pics and articles for my fictional newspaper.  The opening music is Pelagic II X from Perfect Dark.

7/24/01    There is a new Gif of the Week above, again a day late.  The music is Star Road from Super Mario World.  GW images from episodes 23 and 24 have been added.  In news, Mobile Suit Gundam aired yesterday.  Also, 08th MS Team is on weekdays at midnight.  It looks awesome.

7/23/01    Hola!  The music is the Sonic2 Ending.  Also, I have subscribed to another toplist site- Anime100.  You can vote by clicking on their banner or the "Vote 4 My Site" link in the left nav bar.  Please take time and vote for my site.  You'll have to click enter or yes on some for it to count.  Thank you.

7/22/01    Today's music is Metal Cap Mario.  Finally, I have a Gundam Wing Mecha section.  The Gundam given the prestigious honor of being the first in my new section is the Epyon, my favorite.

7/21/01    GW Episodes 25 and 28 have been added.  Quatre Vs. Heero is one of my favorites.  I ran into a problem with my computer yesterday.  All of a sudden there was no sound.  I couldn't access the volume controls, and it said their was a problem with the hardware.  I think its the sound card, but my dad won't let me open up the computer.  The music is Funky's Flight's from DK Country.  I changed my DBZ image section.  By clicking on the link you open it in a new window.  It is actual on an entirely separate site.  Give me your opinion of the change in my new poll.

7/20/01    Sorry, no new updates today.  I am trying to redo my DBZ image section.  On my current site, in order to view a full sized version, I had to create a new page.  That means I have 64 pages right now that are wasting space.  I have two plans to the problem.  One was to use a program called Imagefolio, but I didn't want to pay a lot for it.  I found a site that does almost the same thing for free.  I hope it works out, or I'll have to go to plan B.

7/19/01    GW images for episodes 29 and 30 have been added.  My sister just bought 2 computer games- Political Tycoon and Beyond Atlantis.  Both are pretty hard.  I am completely lost in Beyond Atlantis.  In Political Tycoon, I am always getting overthrown or attacked by other nations for no reason at all.  The music is Yoshi's House from Super Mario World.

7/18/01   I fixed the vote button in my left nav bar.  The windows are smaller and have scrollbars, but you'll have to click enter on some to actually vote.  The daily music is the Castle theme from Super Mario World.  Episodes 31 and 32 have also been added to the GW image page.

7/17/01   There is a new Gif Animation of the Week above.  It was made by me.  I added some new Bid4Power pics too.  The entrance music today is Krool Galleon from Donkey Kong Country.  Mobile Suit Gundam, the very first series, and The 08th MS Team are just one short week away... next Monday at 5:00PM on Toonami you'll get a taste of real Gundam folks.

7/16/01    The music is from Perfect Dark.  Since I can't put my music videos on my site, you can get them off Kazaa.  It is like Napster, but you can download other media too.  You can download Kazaa from here.  I think it is better than both Napster and Aimster.  My first music video should be found by search for "Stupify 3DBZ".  It's a Windows Media Audio/Video file.  You might not be able to find it for a while, until it spreads.  Look for my site name at the end to make sure it is my version.  There are others out there.

7/15/01    My aunt, uncle, and cousin left at 5 AM for Kansas City.  It is about a 15 hour drive from Pittsburgh to KC.  Now, I should have some free time.  The entrance music is the Robotnick theme from Sonic the Hedgehog.  Bid For Power's site was having link submissions, and I completely forgot.  Dang!  Click here to see a cool shockwave animation featuring stick-figure fighting. Yes, it doesn't sound too exciting...but trust me, it is well done.

7/14/01    I added a section in humor.  It has actual questions asked in court.  The music is from Vectorman for the Sega Genesis.  I thought the game was pretty cool.

7/13/01    Oh no, it is Friday the 13th.  Sorry, nothing new today.  I was at the Pirate game yesterday, and my cousin from Kansas City is in town.  The entrance music is Vanilla Dome from Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo.

7/12/01    My opening music is the Koopa theme from Super Mario 64.  I added GW episodes 33 and 34.  Episode 34- "And It's Name is Epyon" is one of my favorites.  Epyon is the coolest Gundam, followed closely by Wing Zero.

7/11/01    Oh, no! It's raining.  I have been trying to learn javascript.  I found out how to do some neat stuff like- the rain, the message in the bottom status bar, and the warning popup.  Episodes 35 and 36 have been added to the GW images page.  Can you guess the entrance tune?  Yes, it's the Donkey Kong Country title theme.

7/10/01   There are 7 new DBZ wallpapers.  From what I have seen, Blast From The Burgh must have the largest selection of DBZ and GW wallpapers out there.  The DBZ Tournament game is still working, and don't forget about my poll.  Also, I have changed my entrance music.  If you have played Perfect Dark, an awesome game, then you'll probably recognize this tune.  Believe it or not, I found a site that has midis from almost every game for almost any system.  This means a new feature!  I should have a new entrance tune daily.  I even have classic tunes from games like Super Mario and Donkey Kong.

7/9/01     New week equals new gif animation.  I command you...Dance, penguin, dance!  Also, I added episodes 37 and 38 to the GW image page.   In Bid 4 Power news- Yrgol has mentioned in his dev journal that destructible terrain is now supported.  This will probably be limited to stuff like trees and rocks, so don't count on blowing up mountains.  It'd be awesome if you could.  Also, custom models are fully supported now.  "If you create a Hulk Hogan model and put it in /models/players/vegetahogan/, then the Hulk Hogan model will show up in the ui as a selectable skin for Vegeta, brotha.  I'm gonna hit you with a final flash in a steel cage."  Check it out at their main page .

7/8/01     Some more format changes.  I subscribed to some new toplists.  They can be found to the right and on my entrance page.  You can vote by clicking on their banners or the Vote link in my left navigation bar.  I was fooling around and made the link that opens up all my voting windows at once.  Just click and bam!  It's all for your convenience.  I moved the poll over to the right too.  Also, episodes 39 and 40 have been added to my Gundam Wing image section.  The Cola Wars has been removed.

7/7/01     Now, I have a new entrance image.  This completes my new layout.  To celebrate, I added 23 new DBZ images- some on page 3, a new page 4, and part of page 5.  Don't forget about my new poll at the bottom of this page.

7/6/01     This one is short and sweet.  Some new DBZ wallpapers were added.  That's all for today.

7/5/01     Welcome to my new layout.  I created the top banner, changed the entrance music, and made a new poll at the bottom.  Also, I added some new Bid 4 Power pics.  Some show their new bending beam feature.  I want to encourage you to vote for my page on Atrek by clicking on their banner at the bottom of this page and then entering.  If anyone wish to submit any fan-fiction or fan-art, please do so.  You can reach me at ATD010@cs.com .  Thank you for your support and enjoy.

7/4/01     Tonight there really will be a Blast from the Burgh, once the fireworks show starts.  I put up a fireworks gif animation above.  I will still be working on DBZ for a while.  I have tons of stuff waiting to be added.  Nothing new today, so just look around and play some games.

7/3/01     The game page is up and can be found under Multimedia.  It contains links to some fun games.  Over time, I am going to expand it.  The Dragon Ball Z game can now be found on the game page, along with some games from Postopia.com.  Just click on the image to play.  I was planning on putting up some NHL updates.  I am a hockey fan, and there is a lot of trading going on.  I hope to report on them after the fourth.

7/2/01    I am going to have a game section up tomorrow.  Also, I have added a few new DBZ images on page 3.  As you have probably noticed, I changed the Gif of the Week.  I was visiting other sites, looking for stuff to "borrow" (wink wink), when I saw the gif above.  I just had to show it to you all.  I am going to change the poll soon too.  Coca-Cola has won this week in the Cola Wars.

7/1/01     I added some new DBZ images on page 2 and made a page 3.  I'll be updating my DBZ section over the next few days.  Also, I put a new gif animation on my Cola Wars page, which you can access from the entrance.  It is a Pepsi can boxing with a Coca-Cola bottle.

6/30/01    Some new Gundam Wing wallpapers were added.  I am still looking for a place where I can upload files to, which I then can link to as downloads on my site.  If anyone can help me, please e-mail me at ATD010@cs.com .  Thank you.

6/29/01    The final part of the Endless Waltz episode image section is now up.  I just downloaded all these trial programs off the internet, and I am try to figure them all out.  I downloaded this program called ASS Builder.  No joke and its not what you think.  It stands for Active ScreenSaver Builder.  I spent all day yesterday experimenting with it and made this awesome screensaver for my page.  It plays music, runs through a bunch of transition effects, and gives a great preview off my site.  When I went to create the file, a notice popped up and said that I can't create a screensaver file with more than 20 lines without registering.  The one I made has 120 lines.  I can view it, but I can't put it on my site.  According to their ad, registering or buying the program costs only $29.90.  I am not paying that much.  It is only worth half that.  Plus, why 90 cents?  Isn't there some law that says prices have to end with 9.99?  Ha!  Oh, well.  On a high note, I downloaded a trial version of flash.  I hope to learn it and want to make a flash intro for my site.  Is it me or are these getting longer and longer?  Maybe I should shut up now.  Thanks and Enjoy!

6/28/01    There are no new updates today because I want to announce the beginning of a new feature.  It is called Cola Wars.  You can access it from my entrance page.  It can be an innovative idea or just plan stupid, depending on its success.  It is sort of a strange idea.  The idea came to me at around 1:30 at night, so maybe that explains it.  I was watching a show on how Coca-Cola and Pepsi came about and their rivalry.  The fact came to me that people have a preference and are rather devoted to one or the other, so I decided to play on this fierce rivalry to promote my site.  It is like the Pepsi Challenge, except you can't taste the products online of course.  Each week a winner will be declared right here.  If your choice doesn't win on a certain week, just keep on voting in hopes of winning the next week.  You must come through my entrance page to vote and come here to view the weekly results.  This will increase my site's traffic.  The fate of the Cola Wars lies in your hands.  Will it be pioneering or a stupid flop?

6/27/01    I added some nice new images on the Bid For Power page.  Also, Part 2 of the Endless Waltz episode images is now up.  You might have noticed the words "Cola Wars" on my title page.  It is a new poll feature that I will have up tomorrow.

6/26/01    Part 1 of the Endless Waltz episode images is up.  There are three parts, each with a lot of nice pics.  Also, I finally added the information for the Smithfield Street Bridge.  It is packed with info.  Get this- even though the Toonami Reactor is closed I had a link in my favorites for one of its games, and it still works!  The game is DBZ Tournament, and guess what?  Now you can play it from my site!  Aren't I the sly one?  Now, I might be the only one who has it.  Although you can't reach it, Toonami still hasn't removed their stuff from the Reactor yet, so you might be able to play the game for a while.  The link is in the DBZ section.  Enjoy it while you can.

6/25/01   Nothing much today.  There are still no new Gundam wing episode images, but I have added a GW wallpaper page.  My personal favorite is the Endless Waltz wallpaper.  Just click the image to get the full sized version.  Also, I haven't changed the Gif of The Week, even though I have tons waiting.  I just recently made it and want to show it off.  Tomorrow, the text on the Smithfield Street Bridge should be up, and I will be continuing my GW episode image section.  Also, I closed the music page.  There was nothing on it anyway.  It will be back though.  Although I am probably getting a  little redundant, I still want to encourage you to vote for my site by clicking on the Atrek banner at the bottom of this page and then entering.  I appreciate your support.  Thank you and enjoy!

6/24/01    I discovered that there were many errors in my DBZ image section, especially on the second page.  Oh well, they are fixed now.  By clicking on the image or wallpaper you can see the full sized version (GW episode images are already full sized).  I added some new DBZ images on the second page and also added some new wallpapers.  There are no new GW episode images.  Sorry.  Today is your final day to visit the Toonami Reactor.  On June 25 its going offline.  If you haven't tried the DBZ games yet then do it now.

6/23/01    Episodes 42 and 43 have been added to my Gundam Wing section.  Not much to say today.  I was at the Pirate game yesterday, so I didn't have time.  Expect a lot in the next two days.

6/22/01    Hold on its a long one.  I added episodes 44 and 45 to my Gundam image section.  On the Bid For Power page I added a link to a review on the game by Planet Namek.  Don't forget about the perpetual bubblewrap, and remember to vote for my site on Atrek by clicking on the banner at the bottom of this page and entering.  There is a guestbook, pass-it-on (new), and poll down there too.
Drum roll please....And now for some news.  According to Planet Namek, the airing of the original Dragon Ball on Cartoon Network is being pushed back yet again to what appears to be late August. "Now THAT'S quality control (or laziness, depending on your level of disposition towards FUNimation)."
Did anyone see Jay Leno last night?  It was hilarious.  They did the show in the dark (a joke on the rolling blackouts in California).  The audience had flashlights and glowsticks.  The governor of California appeared on the show during the monologue, and Gilbert Gottfried (the guy with the annoying voice) keep on yelling out from the audience that he wanted his money back.  Leno Jokes:  "Solution to the power shortage- get a really long extension cord and plug it in an outlet in Texas.  Title for a book by President Bush on his trip around the globe- Are We There Yet?- for ages 2 to 2 &1/2."

6/21/01    I added a link in the humor section for perpetual bubblewrap.  It is not really humor though.  You can keep on popping it, but it always returns.  Also, I added two more pages to my Gundam Wing episode image section- episodes 46 and 47.  If you didn't notice upon entering, I have changed my title page music yet again.  In addition, I also changed my Gif of the week above.  Yes- I know it is not the start of a new week.  I just made it and wanted to show it off.

6/20/01    Lets start off my Gundam Wing episode image section with the final episode (The Final Victor) and episode 48 (Take Off into Confusion).  I am going to put up the pages in reverse order, counting down from episode 49.  I'll try to publish 2 episodes a day.  Also, I will try to get an Animated Image page up soon and finish the information on the Smithfield Street Bridge.  By the way, I added some Bid For Power images.  This is going to be an awesome game once it is completed.

6/19/01    You are not going to believe this but so far I have collected over 150 Gundam Wing images!  They are only episode screenshots and only cover the Endless Waltz and about two-thirds of the series.  I am going to set up the image pages according to episodes, and each update I will try to add a new page.  Can anyone guess what I am going to say next?  If you thought I was going to remind you to vote for my site by clicking on the Atrek banner at the bottom of this page and then entering, well, you are wrong.  But now that you mention it, that is not a bad idea.  What I wanted to say is that the 150 images don't even include all of my wallpapers and other images!  It will take me forever to get them all up.  Now I have to think of about 30 ways to tell you that I have added a new image page every time I update.  Adios for now!

6/18/01    Hello boys and girls!  I am here with some news you probably already know.  Say adios to Toonami Reactor.  On June 25 at 10 am Reactor is going offline.  So, at least for now, you can say goodbye to full episodes and games on the web. There are rumors that the Reactor will return, and that this is only a minor setback...but we'll see.  This week I should be adding the information for the Smithfield Street Bridge and have my Gundam section started.  I also changed the title page music again.  Just experimenting.  Give me your feedback.

6/17/01    Just a few new updates.  I added 2 new DBZ wallpapers.  Also, I divided the DBZ image section into 2 pages and added 6 new images.  In the Pittsburgh section, I added 10 new images and started a page for the Smithfield Street Bridge.  Although I am getting a little redundant, I still want to remind you to vote for my site by clicking on the Atrek banner at the bottom of this page and then entering.  Thank you and enjoy!

6/15/01    I added a Power Level page in the DBZ section.  I also put in a link at the end of my navigation bar on the left.  It is for a program that can get your site 15k hits a day.  Remember to vote for my site on Atrek.  Hey keep it up.  I am ranked 6th!

6/14/01   Just changed a few things.  I will be adding a new section this weekend.  Also, I plan on adding to the Pittsburgh and DBZ sections soon.  I am still working on the Gundam Wing section.  Remember to vote for my site by clicking on the Atrek banner at the bottom of this page and then enter.  I appreciate the support.

6/12/01   I just made the coolest, kick ass music video last night.  Too bad I don't have anywhere to upload my videos to.  If anyone knows of a place that permits them please tell me.  If anyone who knows me wants to see my music video collection, I have a copy on CD for you to borrow.  Just ask me.  I will have a music video section up, but it will consist of linked videos from other sites.  However, most webmasters look down upon this.  I wouldn't like it either if someone was linking to my files.  I am thinking of submitting the videos I made to someone else's site who has the capability.  Then, I would put a link from their site to my page.  As for updates, just reread my summary for the 11th below.

6/11/01   Hey, I changed my intro music on my entrance page.  If the music starts to play staticy, it should fix it self.  If not, just pause it for a sec and then click play.  E-mail me your thoughts.  I have other songs waiting.  I am thinking of changing my music periodically.  Remember about my poll and vote for my site on Atrek at the bottom of this page.  Thanks.

6/10/01   After 22 years, Raymond Bourque has won the Stanley Cup!  Talk about chasing a dream.  Bourque has gone over 1,800 games, the longest ever in the NHL, without winning the Stanley Cup. But all that has changed.  The Colorado Avalanche have won game seven of the Stanley Cup Finals.  Only seven times in NHL history has the finals gone to a game seven.  Isn't it also an irony that Bourque's number also happens to be 77.  How about that!  In probably his last game, Bourque, at the age of 40, has won his first after a long 22 year quest for the Cup.  Also, Goaltender Patrick Roy won the Conn Smythe Trophy for most valuable player.  This is his third time.  He is the only player in the NHL to win the trophy three times.
Remember about my new poll.  Also, VOTE for my site on Atrek by clicking on their banner and entering.  It is below the poll at the bottom of this page.  Thank you for your support.

6/9/01    I have made a few changes.  I have changed the poll at the bottom of the page so remember to vote.  I added some new DBZ links in, of course, the Links section.  Also I subscribed to another topsite list at Atrek, so I encourage you to vote for my site by clicking on the banner.  They are located at the bottom of this page and on my title page.  Hey all you Gundam Wing fans.  I hope to have a Gundam Wing section up in about a week.
In news, Finally confirmation that a Dragonball game will appear on the Game Boy Advance.  In the game, players have to defeat enemies throughout various quests in an effort to save Earth from the Saiyans, and save the galaxy from the evil Frieza. Paul Rinde, Senior VP and GM of WizardWorks, had this to say:  "Dragon Ball Z has a loyal following in the millions, and our primary goal with The Legacy of Goku is to provide them with a compelling interactive game that stays true to the cartoon series. To that end, we've incorporated the same distinctive visual style and deep character development, and combined them with proven game features such as multi-play and dynamic story telling."

6/7/01    Sorry I haven't updated in a while.  I have finals.  I have changed the gif, and that's about it.  Expect something next week.  After that I am hoping to get a lot done on my page, so try to visit daily.  Thanks.  Don't forget about my guestbook and poll at the bottom of this page  Also, there is the Bid for Power section, the Bumper Sticker humor section, and the new visualizations.  I still trying to find a way to put the music videos up.  If anyone can help, please contact me.

5/2701   I have two new sections up:  Bid for Power and one in Humor.  Don't forget about my new visualizations and the poll down below.  Also, I have some awesome DBZ music videos.  However, I can't find a place to upload the files online to.  If anyone knows off a place please tell me.  For those of you who would like to see them and you know me, just ask me at school.  I have them burned on a CD you can borrow.

5/24/01  Since the Penguins are out of the playoffs, my gif above will change weekly.  Just thought I'd remind you that there are some new visualizations.  There is a poll at the bottom so vote.  Also, I will have a new humor and DBZ section up soon.
Here's some news.  Rumors are flying around the net about what system we'll see the next DBZ game on...according to this news story on Planet GameCube, we'll be seeing a DBZ game for GC and Game Boy Advance.  But that's not all, ladies and gents...IGN seems to think that one of the DBZ games will be for Playstation 2 according to this article.  However, NOTHING official has been announced yet.

5/23/01 Its a long news report, so stay in there.  The New Jersey Devils have beaten the Pittsburgh Penguins.  Sadly, it looks as if last night's game may have been Jaromir Jagr's last as a Penguin.  Even though he has struggled recently, he still lead the league in points during the regular season.  However, because of his recent problems and his high salary, Jagr looks as if he might be traded.  Although, with everyone knowing this, the Penguins might not get a whole lot for him.  There is a poll at the bottom to give your response. Oh well, they still had a great season with Lemieux's return and a terrific find in Johan Hedberg.  The Penguins couldn't have made it as far as they did if it wasn't for those two.  I knew from the minute I saw Hedberg that he was going to do something great.  Although, the question is whether he will play just as fantastic next year.  Another person I am impressed with is Ference.  If I'm right he is ranked third in goals for a defenseman during the playoffs.  Devils defenseman Brian Rafalski is another one who caught my eye.  He is ranked first in goals by a defenseman in the playoffs.  You have to give credit to the Devils.  They have a great defense and offense.  All their lines are strong, and plus their backed by goaltender Martin Brodeur.  The Devils are a great when at even strength.  They gave up the least goals and scored the most goals in the playoffs.  I think the figure is something like 40 scored to 15 given up.

5/20/01  Well, it looks as if the Penguins are going to lose the series.  You better watch game 5.  If they lose, it will probably be Jagr's last game as a Penguin.   In terms of updates, I added some new winamp visualizations I made.  I divided them into two sections.

5/18/01 The Pens, down 2-1 in the series, will play this Saturday at 3:00.  LETS GO PENS!

5/16/01  Sorry, I was having trouble updating my site recently.  Good news!  The Penguins won last night to tie the series 1-1.  Game 3 is in Pittsburgh on Thursday.  Lets Go Pens!  In terms of today's updates, I revised the images so take a look.  Click on the image to get the full sized version.  Do you like the new way or the old slide show method?  E-mail me your opinion at ATD010@cs.com.  I have added 2 new DBZ images and moved the wallpapers into their own section.  I added some new links in the Music section.  Sorry, the DBZ mp3 links are down.  I also converted my Pittsburgh skin on my freedrive into a zip file, so it's easier to download.  Remember to sign my guest book and vote for my site down below.

5/5/01  Welcome to my new format.  I got rid of the folder system on the top and made a navigation bar down the side.  I also changed the welcome gif.  At the bottom of this page I put in a guest book.  Remember to vote for my site down below too.  I am also starting a new feature called GIF of the Week.  In hopes of a Penguin victory, I made the one above.
As you may already know, the Penguins lost game 5 in Buffalo.  Jagr scored the first goal, so it looks like his shoulder is getting better.  I don't like reporting when we loss so let us just leave it at that.  Oh well, I hope that they win game 6.  Lets Go Pens.

5/3/01  Sorry, I haven't been able to update recently.  The server was down.  Just thought I should let you know.  I promise an update this weekend.

4/24/01  How about those Penguins?  The Pittsburgh Penguins have defeated the Washington Capitals in overtime of Game 6 to win the series.  Lemieux scored first, then Lang and later Kovalev.  Straka scored a sweat goal to win it 4 to 3.  The second line was hot last night.  The Penguins wouldn't have made it this far if it wasn't for some great goaltending by Johan Hedberg.  At one point in the game Hedberg made an awesome save, spinning around to block a shot.  The Penguins move on and will play the Buffalo Sabers.  Lets Go Pens!

4/21/01  Did anyone see Game 5 of the Penguins-Capitals series?  It was pretty good.  The Penguins scored 2 goals early in the first period.  However, Washington came back and made it 2 to 1.  The Penguins managed to hold off the endless assault by the Caps throughout the third to hold on to their one point lead and win.  Not widely know for their defensive skills, I must commend the Penguins.  The Penguins only had a handful of shots in the third, though.  They have got to keep the puck in the Caps end, and for God's sake Shoot The Puck.  Another problem is that they take too many stupid penalties.  The Capital have scored 6 goals on the power play and only 1 in overtime.  The Penguins now lead the series 3-2.

Still waiting for feedback from probably the only FOUR people who visit my site.  Come on you guys.  Promote my page!

4/20/01 What do you think of the theme music?  It is the Penguins' 2000 theme.  Give me feedback.

4/15/01  Welcome to the official opening of my page.  I'll try to update weekly.  I encourage people to promote my site.  I have added some Pittsburgh images, have 2 mp3s available, a new visualization called Promo Strobe, and added a section in humor.

On April 9th, I attended the Pirate home opener in PNC Park. The park, modeled after Forbes Field, is beautiful.  The detail is extraordinary, especially the stone work and blue steel.  It has a great view of the city.  You can walk across Clemente Bridge to enter or take the Gateway Clipper.  The scoreboard has an excellent picture too.  On the scoreboard at the start of the game they had a cool skit.  A fleet of Cincinnati Reds' ships invaded and fired on the city.  Then the Pittsburgh Pirates' ship dramatically entered and blew them away.   Unfortunately the Pirates lost the game.  I hope the team will rise to the level of the ballpark.  My dad and I stayed after the game and walked around.  Unfortunately a storm rolled in and we were soaked.  You've heard the saying "April showers bring may flowers".  Well, if that is the case, then here in Pittsburgh we'll have tons of flowers.
