"Cuthbert's Landing" - is a self-contained, ground floor apartment, superbly situated on the edge of the Aln Estuary, part of "Blue Dolphins" which is a beautiful Victorian house sympathetically converted into four apartments. We gave it the name of Cuthbert's Landing, because the lounge window overlooks the site where St. Cuthbert was made Bishop of Lindisfarne in the 7th Century. The beach is just steps away, and this area, is easily explored at low tide, minus shoes and socks of course...

The apartment consists of a well furnished comfortable lounge with a window seat, TV etc., a well equipped kitchen, including microwave, electric cooker, and washing machine, an attractive dining area - 2 bedrooms, one double and one single, (the single can be made into a small twin if required) and two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath. Bed linen is included.

Our village, although quite unspoiled, is well serviced, as we have a Post Office, village shop, Methodist Church and Anglican Church, a 9 hole golf course and quite a few eating and drinking establishments all just a minutes stroll away. Once your sight seeing is done you can put your car away for the evening and just stroll up the village.

Railway Station - 1 mile (London to Edinburgh mainline direct).

Regular bus service from village.

Parking for 1 car.

Well-behaved pets welcome (must have own bed).

All electric (cooking and heating) included.
