Adam Salzmann, my GGG-Grandfather, left Germany and arrived in New

York, 14 October 1862,  on the ship, the Tuisko, from Bremen, with his wife

of 14 months, Catharina Elisabeth Ziegler.  During childbirth, 4 months

later, Catharina and her twin sons died.  Adam, 27, was now widowed,

and residing in New York ...

I have stumbled upon a "Cousin's Wife" who has done a TREEmendous

amount of research on the Salzmann line.  I would like to thank Ann Salzmann, 

for the many hours of hard work that went into this descending line.
