My father lived some of his best years in Southern California enjoying sounds of the best big bands of the 40's.
Someone he admired, was a musician and songwriter by the name of Bobby Troup. His admiration for his music and life
was the motivation to name me after him.
Bobby Troup was best known for writing "Get your kicks on Route 66", marrying Julie London and playing the part as 'Doc'
on the T.V. show Emergency.
