BREEDING:
Egg-Layers

FEEDING:
Live Foods,Blood worms, Brine Shrimp.

NOTE:
50 gallon tank or better.

LIGHTING:
Dark as possible, nocturnal fish.

TEMPERAMENT:
Peaceful by themselves, However DO NOT do not keep with Kuhlii Loaches or small Eels.They will end up as food.

COMMENTS:
These fish love to bury themselves in sandy substrate, can and will uproot plants within the tank. Closely related to the Whiptail Catfish.
A strange note on these fish, their "skin" actually contains Keratin so it can be called "Skin". They also shed thier skin from time to time. Make sure your filtratioon system is up to the task with this guy, many a filters have been clogged by the shedding habits of the "Banjo CatFish".
