MINIMUM RECOMMENDED TANK SIZE:
   Do not place in tanks smaller than 15 gallons, 20+ gallons is preferred.

BREEDING:
   Egg-layers

FEEDING:
   Mainly Flake, Live or Frozen Brine Shrimp.

NOTE:
   They are best kept in schools of six or more, one reason not to place these fish in too small of a tank.

LIGHTING:
   Bright, but not direct sunlight.

TEMPERAMENT:
   Peaceful with most other fish.


COMMENTS:
   A great fish, especially for those first starting out since the species readily adapts to varied pH and temperature ranges. These fish are best kept in schools of 6 or more, and in tanks 20 gallons and larger, although the Aphyocharax rathbuni does well in as small as ten gallon tanks.
