•   7+ inches / 15 to 20 cm.

MINIMUM RECOMMENDED TANK SIZE:
•   Do not place in tanks smaller than 35 gallons, 50+ gallons is preferred.

BREEDING:
•   Egg-layers

FEEDING:
•   Mainly Live Brine Shrimp & Live or Frozen Blood Worms, may take specially prepared Discus Pellets.

NOTE:
•   Very awesome fish, wide variety of colors. Often considered The King of all Aquarium Fishes, especially to breeders.

LIGHTING:
•   More nocturnal, prefers dusk and dawn, light lighting.

TEMPERAMENT:
•   Peaceful, very good community fish as long as it is with fish its own size or larger only and as just as calm as the Discus, faster moving tank mates may stress this delicate species.


COMMENTS:
•   A member of the Cichlid family. Best raised and bred in their own private aquarium. This one is best left to the experienced hobbyist.

•   These guys are definitely NOT for the beginner!
